We so badly need God in our lives and to truly love him and be thankful for him giving his only begotten son to come spread the Gospel & to die on the cross for ALL of our sins just to give us the CHANCE to go to heaven and have eternal salvation with God Almighty who is our beloved Heavenly Father. We need to keep him close and his commandments closer. Love each other no matter the color of skin or language they may speak because Jesus died on that cross that day for ALL, not just his own people but for us all to have the chance to be saved. Thank you so very much for your service! I will always take the time to thank a veteran when I see one and I've been known to give the last of my cash to help get them off the streets and in a room for a couple nights. I'm a firm believer that our veterans should never ever have to worry about food, clothes, shelter and health care. Especially those that served active duty and were possibly wounded. The words in this song reminds me of all the good times I had when I was in the Marine Corps. From a purple toga party in the middle of winter, to chicken dumpling Sunday dinners, to bbq cook outs at the river or on the beach while sippin wild turkey around the bomb fire, "we were all just trying to catch a good time."
