I’ve never bought into the slow persona or thought he was really crazy, because when he was skinny he was normal sooo did the food go to his belly and brain…☠️

You can only go so far with a channel like that. People will get bored of it eventually. Especially if it’s all just a guy being a character and not a passion.
Nah, I followed Nick when he was a skinny vegan and talked about drama then...he got into internet drama with other vegan RU-vidrs... He's always been that way...at least as a character.
If Nikocado's weight gain is really only motivated by money and fame, he really dropped the ball, because a strategic pivot to a weight loss journey could've been a goldmine. This should've happened as soon as interest in his content began its downward spiral. Public fascination with transformations + guaranteed coverage by top commentary and reaction channels + potential health influencer collabs = massive viewership boost. It would've been a win-win: Nikocado maintains the financial success and popularity he currently enjoys. But more importantly, he could shed the unhealthy lifestyle and toxic persona he's cultivated (no more tantrums, self-degradation, and abusive behavior). This would help to repair his public image and allow him to come across as relatable again since he would be presenting a more authentic version of himself to his audience. Even if the peak window of oppurtunity might've passed, focusing on genuine weight loss would still be worthwhile for the health benefits alone, but it could also still revitalize his channel. Years ago, Nikocado was frustrated that his health-conscious content was underappreciated and not very profitable, but now that would no longer the be case and he's not taking advantage.
For me it was when he lashed out at CoryxKenshin for trying to reach out to him and make a valid point. The point being that he shouldn't sacrifice his health for views.
nik has said plenty of times that what he does for yt is a script so i dont understand why so many people actually sit here and believe that this is how he acts 24/7
No one can make you do what you don't want to do, Nik makes his own choices just like the rest of us, it just so happen that his choices are dependent on the viewers. One of the problems is that people say they'll respect and like him more if he eat healthy and give up his facade, but when he does that, he gets way less views compared to his unhealthy mukbangs. Nik said it himself in the podcast with Oompa, "People say a lot of things, but they don't mean it". The very people that say that they hate Nik and would like him more if he eats healthier and drop the character is the same people that comes back to watch Nik eat the overly unhealthy amounts of food, giving him more views, attention and reason to continue. But at the end of the day, it all comes back to Nik making a decision on whether he wants to continue eating fast food and gaining weight or eat healthy and lose it.
many people turned againts him when he had one sided beef with cory and "called out" cory in his videos in 2021 or 2022. cory cleared tho cause he addressed it in his own way
