I think some fans think if a former great player who played in the 90s or 00s says something then it must be valid but in reality former players have dumb basketball opinions just like fans do sometimes. And some former great players regularly do. To be fair Shaq did say Jokic is the best player in the world and based on the history of the award it’s not always voted on like it’s a best player award.
my boy! best player in the world. he was great all-around. had 3 blocks and 3 steals also. Nikola is the foundation and the engine, our team goes as he goes. his leadership doesnt get the praise that it should, he set the tone, and everyone followed suit 🐐
Exactly. Seen some ppl tryna ish on him for the past 2 games, but he is literally the centre piece of this team. You strip Jokic from this team and i honestly feel like you're looking at a play in team.
Ok let’s not get carried away here. LeBron and Steph had better MVP seasons. Tbh, if Embiid never got hurt he would’ve likely won this year based on how he started the season.
@@technodrome6772 I'm a grown man. I don't care about whether I get likes. LeBron's 2012-13 year was way better than Jokic. Man won MVP, FMVP, Olympic Gold, and almost won defensive player of the year. Jokic is that guy, but y'all be getting carried away. He not even better than Shaq MVP year.

Jokic ripped the broom apart in many pieces. And there's a famous saying that goes like "And all the Wolves horses and all the Wolves men could not put the broom together again". And I hope this comment ages well when this series ends. :-) You never know. I always root for the Nuggets to win, after all they are the Champions and if they keep on playing the way they did in game 3, they can do it. How did they manage? Well, basically they played by the same speed and fierce defence just as did the Wolves in game 1 and 2. In other words, in game 3 the Wolves got punched in their face with their own recipe. 🙃
