I am a Serb and I think it is not racism but xenophobia. Giannis also gets the same media treatment as Jokic. Ordinary fans don't care about race, but when the media deliberately creates bad relationships between people, many fall into that trap. Whites are traditionally more racist than all other races, so it should not be surprising when racism is returned with racism. It is extremely wrong, but unfortunately it is part of human imperfect nature. Jokic and Giannis are foreigners, not trying to fit into American culture like Luka and Embiid. Before 10 days I would disagree with you, because coming from Serbia we don't have racism at all, coloured people are not seen as some lower than us or something like that, we simply don't understand what that means to be honest. Until I got into the arguing with someone at the twitter on Joker vs Embiid thing, and one guy supported my takes and the guy who I was arguing with said to the that guy something like "you betray us, how you can support that white dude, we need to stick together and support the man of our colour" - well my reaction was shocking and after I think for a while I have told him that is racism, being black doesn't exclude you from being racist yourself if you didn't know. And I know that I'm right, it's true, it's not one way direction, even other races can be racists, only towards the other race, its the same. So I do believe you.

For some unknown reason, Serbs love blacks, but many of them do not have the same energy towards the Roma who live with us and the refugees from the Middle East. @@mlrd2687 well there's a minority groups, at least there was before that are racists but they are grown up now and usually they was football hooligans but that was 10 and even more years ago, aftermath of the conflicts here. About Roma, well that's on them. How do I mean? Primary school and high school are completely free, even for social cases books and everything else is free. But they don't want to go to the school, they are offered social containers with clean water and electricity for free, so that you can educate your children etc. Even wardrobe is free, ofc donations but that's not bad at all, I personally would ware something. All of them can have social care but for that they need to have ID, to go to the social networks and they are offering you jobs, you have right to decline 3 times but no one have id, they are exploiting children for begging around the city, usually they have sexual relations in the family, that's forbidden by the law but no one knows because they literally for generations don't have id's etc and still health care is free for emergencies. For legal free health care you need to have address and id, 80% of them don't have, they pickpocket and stealing the metal around the city, if you see hole in the road, roma stole it for sure. So they're causing a lot of problems that are solvable only is needed their own wish to change. Ofc there's a positive examples and ask them if they had negative experiences? Imagine you are seating in the bar with your girlfriend and bunch of children ask you for money before you get in the restaurant, you seat outside and in 1-2 hours they're asking you for money every 5min, and I don't want to give them because of my principles, but I always ask them are you hungry, if you are I'll buy you something to eat, they decline and minute before that they are asking money for food. Understand? Immigrants are different story, in the beginning they was accepted wonderful because we had immigrants during the 90s from bosnia and Croatia and we understand, but as time passes you notice some things, how it's possible to see immigrant in the white shirt without stains, completely white, new, new shoes, good brands etc but that's nothing, we give them old military facilities ofc they are free to leave and enter whenever they want only 11PM-05AM is closed but they still don't respect that. Jails are FULL of immigrants, its usually thefts, violence, kidnapping and attempt murder and murders all with the knifes, so if in your city (small cities) suddenly immigrants get place to stay with everything, from food to health care but crime rate rises for like 500%, then ppl said enough and started to organise ppl patrols to eather catch the one who just committed the crime or to stop it before it happens, and helped a lot but its not by the law so that's why that comes up in the reports but ppl simply don't pay attention on them in most cases or they are afraid. Hopefully now you understand. I have friends that are roma and I have no problem with it, but they are completely normal family, all of them work or go to the school etc.

It's because big % and I have told you as well that there's a 20% of educated roma, but it's a problem that we acknowledge that we have but as I said it's solvable easily, country just need to work to educate them. You have to understand that of the majority of Roma ppl doesn't have a moral and etic for what's right or wrong.
