i think that looks like it was taken from a fan in the stands. aaron gordon talks about this lob in one podcast and shows the lob. i think he said its his one of his favorites lob dunks. going to try to find that clip of the podcast.
@@protestant8419Nope, anyone can dunk of these passes, Jokic even made Keneth Faried look like prime time dunking Vince Carter, damn, he even made Will Barton tradeable which was huge, since guy is a bum.
The thing that blows my mind is that it didn't even seem like Jokic was looking. It was like he knew where Gordon was, where the defense was, explicitly didn't look, got the ball and chucked it. On the money. Absolutely insane.
I wrote the same thing. And I believe that was by design, because if he was looking in that direction, the opposition's defense would anticipate that and be able to prevent it, since the ball would fly too long
@@DINO92AVFC i watched it live on TV , it showed the lower half of Jokic and a timeout! That was my reality of it haha Main Camera -0.00000 chance to get it on TV , no one mentioned it after the fixture
Watch Jokic before the pass. He is nonchalant and takes a single quick peek downcourt the entire time. He doesn't telegraph it at all. The Grizzlies never saw it coming, but Aaron Gordon knew the entire time.
@@andrejbogdanov2816 You never know my guy. The Nuggets posted that one video where the players were messing around playing American Football. And although Jokic was not playing QB in that video, he did play receiver. And with those great hands of his, I for sure know, without a doubt, that Jokic could have played American Football.
What makes his pass that much more insane is that he wasn't even looking towards the target before throwing the ball. He was looking at the ref, took the ball, and flung it immediately
If there are still people out there who think there is any current basketball player better than Nikola Jokic, then I'm sorry but you don't know much about the sport. The funniest part is that the guy plays the bare minimum to just be a step ahead of the rest. He gives you the notion that if for some reason he needed to immediately up his game by 20 or 30%, he could do it with the flick of a switch!
Nobody in the world other than Jokic and AG expected that pass. It's super hard to throw the ball at that exact location. And even if you do, the ball will go slowly and the dunk will be contested. But no. It's a super fast and super precise. I can't blame.
I used to dog on that show for being unrealistic. Now, we have dudes like this doing flick alleys from 3/4 of the court and aliens like Wemby and Chet.
He makes it all seem so easy with elite vision hand eye coordination spatial awareness elite strength, fluidity tremendous endurance on a 290 pound body. NBA scouts need to start looking at draft picks at other physical gifts instead of just vertical jumping.
Joker's greatness is too much for TV cameras to capture, LOL. A huge shoutout to Gordon and the entire Nuggets team, they are revolutionizing this game, and it is SO much fun to watch!
What a king!He is like Maradona…This summer,in Serbia ,3 months he was on sausages, bacon, cabbage rolls ,burek and ajvar, drinking, dancing and watching horsing races all around the world, laying in his bad.Without any activity, workout, and any summer training, with 20 pounds more, doing passes like this, when everyone in opposite team is still sleeping, when cameras couldn’t catch this magic move,we can say that this kind of artistry we didn’t see in basketball game up to now.His basketball is closer to art then sport..He is more comparable with Martin Scorsese,Dostoyevsky and Rembrandt then Jordan,Sakil oNeill or Kevin Durant…His basketball is more like poetry, classic novels or classical music…We can not understand how it was done,we can just enjoy…
That's probably one of the things they went over when AG visited him in Serbia. It wasn't just all partying and watching horse races, they were working on game stuff, too.
A pass so ridiculous and unexpected, it managed to evade the all-powerful cameraman, despite being zoomed out for a well-longer-than-halfcourt vew as a starting position.
Gordon has unlocked a level of passing in jokic he wouldnt have otherwise discovered and likewise with gordon Jokic has changed his career. Together it is beautiful basketball thank you!
Nikola Jokic is probably the most disrespected NBA player of all time, why !? Because he´s an white european simple guy who plays the most intelligent way to play basketball and that does not like to be in the spotlight of the social media besides on the pitch !! Nikola is one of the best basketball players of all time !!
I watched the game live myself and I was in Ohw of what happened, this is the 1st time i see it, and i didnt notice as well , its JOKIC FASTEST HANDS in the WEST. Ever since that moment that NO ONE is talking about . The Pass is soo good the main Camera didnt even have a chance of a whisper of catching that Perfect Jokic pass. i still didnt watch it. ill do it now.
If you assembled a team where everyone played in the style of Larry Bird, Jokic would have to be the center. The nonchalance before is as important as the great pass!
The way Joker effortlessly throws a basketball like it's a baseball or football across for an alley-oop is legendary. If the defense is sleeping they're getting dunked on by a Joker TD pass.
