Nikon 1 V1: Sample Video (Movie Test) 

@Oculus729 No color correction. The image probably looks a little bit contrasted because of the extreme highlights and lowlights.

This is one of the few cameras that has a microphone input. I like doing mini mini documentary stuff. I am worried though that the autofocus may not be fast enough.

don't know about any compact cameras but if you want a diff 800 dollar camera, i would say canon t2i is one of them. the videos are amazing

I haven't seen a rebate yet..wish they would lower the price.

Looks pretty good at low rez. This will be a nice little camera but it costs way too much for what it is. I bet Nikon has a significant rebate before the end of the year. Also, F&J - can you tell us what you did to the video: color correction, etc. Thanks.

you're wrong . now it just cost $300 , for 300 bucks , this is astonishing + superb! FOR $300 ! i got myself one and it's just superb

@testsebbel16 Die RU-vid-Server benötigen schonmal ein wenig Zeit, um Videos in allen Qualitäts-Stufen bereitzustellen. Die tauchen dann nach und nach auf, kann also sein, dass das nachher anders aussieht als jetzt :)

Sorry for late comment. Nice video thanks. How is overall performance today compared to say Sony NEX 5N and considering 1 V1 is now only around 2/5 the original price and cheaper than even NEX 3C.

im thinking of getting this as a camera to take on short trips and stuff, its about £250-£300 its smaller than my canon 650d so im thinking this is the one to go for

Well the others have much better lenses available.. and 70% of image quality comes from good glass

for $800, the video quality is not as good as others
