Very nice presentation on micro video and photography. Just purchased the Nikon 40mm f/2.8 and this will inspire me to try video as well as photos. Thank you for posting.

Henry Darr from watching some review videos of D5500, it doesn't seem that much better over D5300. So you saved yourself some money :)

Lovely shots and how lucky for me as I have narrowed down my next camera+lens purchase to exactly the same combination as you: d5300 + 40mm macro. I would very much appreciate it if you could answer a question for me: Are you using any additional lighting on the shot of the Ladybug? ~5m30s. Thanks!

Hi, awesome video!! Can you tell me what the minimal focus point is? How close can you take photo's when in macro? 5cm? 10cm? 20cm?

+Anil Takkar Nikon 40 mm je makro objektiv za výbornou cenu. Nikon 50 mm má lepší světelenost, ale není to makro objektiv.

+Anil Takkar Nikon 40 mm macro lens at a great price. Nikon 50 mm 1.8g light has improved but it is not a macro lens.
