This is part 2 of the Nikon D7000 Setup series. This video will help you set up and understand the different settings in your Nikon D7000. I walk you through each step of the way while interjecting how I would set up the menu if I owned the camera.
If you missed Part 1 please click here froknowsphoto.com/?p=2666
to watch the video that explains all of the buttons and what their functions are.
If you have a Nikon D90 this video will also help you set up your camera as the menu systems are very similar.
Please subscribe to my channel.

Jared, got my D7000 a week ago. Been struggling with the manual ever since. You rule. Episode 2 really helped me. I knew most of episode 1. But the second episode saved me a ton of time. For the most part, I agree with your setting assumptions but you gave me a systematic check list with a pause button to go through the whole set of primary decisions. Really excellent bro! Thank you!

Fantastic instruction. I have been mulling over whether to buy a D7000 or a D5200 and was worried that the D7000 may be too advanced for me. However, this in depth video, so fabulously well presented, has made everything very straight forward. So, I will be purchasing the D7000!! Good job Jared!!

Thanks for this walk through. I'm expecting a D7000 in a few days to replace a year-old D5100 that was heavily used, highly meddled with. Super excited for the D7000, looks like the $400 up from the D5100 will be worth it for more control over the exposure and functions.
