You're awesome! It's been a while since I used my camera, so at this point the battery is dead. When I plugged it in, it was flashing orange. Okay gave it an hour, still flashing. Overnight, still flashing. Two days, it stopped flashing and stayed at a solid orange.

There is a long cord that accompanies the charger. I found that using this plug, reduces wear and tear on the interior of the charger. Don't put pressure on the area where the plug meets the charger. Handle the charger carefully and it should last longer. I love Nikon. Nikon is the best!

When i put battery inside the charger everytime it blinks red. And when after an hour i insert battery to the camera it works fine. What's the matter why does it blink red if it's not fully charged.

Hi. I've bought second hand D3200 and I put it on the charger, but the lamp stated toblink very quick. I hought it was normal but I found out that it isn't. It spent 3 hours on the charger while I was waiting o finish. I plugged out and plugged in again, and now it's charging nomaly with slow blink. Is there a possibility I damaged the battery? Probably. I would attach a 8.0 VDC source to it. There is 1 negative contact and 2 + on the battery. I am going to try it.

My charger blinks for few seconds then, it automatically stop. I thought my battery is already full but whenever I check it on my cam, it would only be one bar. I do not know which is broken--the charger or the battery? 🥺

I have same kind of problem. The charger stops blinking after few hours and when I use the battery in camera, it only takes 20 minutes to one bar. The battery doesn't work that long anymore than before. Once I bought a new battery, I knew that the charger was broken because it did the same thing again. The new battery "didn't work" though I know it should work because it's brand new.

If your charger suddenly stopped working by just laying around with battery in it or wasn't used or maybe during charging , iam 90% sure its because its IC is dead. Just get it replaced with the exact same one. And it will work. Also if you wanna make sure you can use your multimeter (Only if you know how to use it) and check the IC that it doesn't have continuity in opposite ends of IC. If it does show or beep continuity that means its short circuited. More Tips: 1. Don't plug charger where u have inverter supply.

Measure the voltage of the battery. It has 1 negative and 2 positive. They should show over 7 V, something like 7.6 V.

I bought ebay batt and charger for mine 39.00 for dual quick charger 4 batts with it and has no probes at all. I think your sponsored or paid by Nikon to promote their items or something because why would somebody not go with a cheaper things if they can save money as long as it works

it might be either/or - best way to find out is to use a full charged battery that is working, if it's your only battery I suggest getting a new battery and charger as it's more cost efficient, if a fully charged battery does not work on your camera it might be the body

Hay que cuidar el cargador nikon mh-24. Tres consejos: 1. cuando el cargador indica que la batería está cargada no dejar la batería ni el cargador enchufados (no cargar por la noche, por ejemplo). 2. Asegurarse de que el cargador soporta el voltaje de donde vives y que no le das más voltaje del que debes o quemarás el circuito. 3. Asegurarse de que el cargador no hace ruidos ni huele raro porque puede indicar que está roto y puede ser peligroso.
