#54 & way over the 2 mins but I thought under the current situation many people might have a bit more time to watch! In this video we look at the 'My Menu' functionality which can be useful in creating user presets on the nikon z series mirrorless cameras - Z50, Z6 & Z7

How are you using the 'My menu' functionality? Or like me is it one of those pieces of functionality that has laid dormant - until now

AF8Images I’ve had a few, currently the mavic pro 2 but for photography only as not interested in uploading videos any more. Would be great to have a few more Z6 videos!

I like my mavic original but it’s becoming more difficult to fly with people challenging even when you’re flying within the regs and considerately. Probably less of an issue if you’re more rural.

Great video sir. Thanks for the continuing tips. Here's a question and I'm sorry if you have already covered this. I've been trying to use my Neewer flash via remote triggers. Have you any advice on how to use the live view for indoor photography? I'm struggling to get the exposure right. Cheers and stay safe.

Thanks for the comment and glad you find them useful. I haven't covered flash photography as it's not something that I use that regularly and if I need lighting I tend to use my continuous lights for the reason you say. It's easier to set up. Flash photography is a real skill in it's own right as there are many techniques for different uses. My advice would be to devote time to getting used to your particular set up and what settings will get you close to the look you want. Over time you'll be able to get there pretty quick and then take some test shots to tweak the settings to the exact settings. Equally, don't forget that the z series sensors have a great dynamic range so even if you're a little out most things can be adjusted enough in post production. Hope this helps. Adrian

@@AF8Images yes. You're right Adrian. The more I think about it I realise that in a proper day to day scenario I'd probably never use off camera flash. I'm more of a landscape photographer. It would take a bloomin huge flash to light that up. 😂. Thanks for the tip. Whilst I'm stuck in the house I'll try what you say and see what I can come up with. Cheers. Have a great weekend sir.

I like the recent menu items settings but embedded menu items are not saved. For example I use select to send (Bluetooth) and then manually select to send but these two menu items do not appear in recent items. Shame !

You're right Tim there are a few settings that don't work with MyMenu. I'm not sure of the reason why, other than they aren't stored the same way within the firmware? Hope you're well. Adrian
