Nikon Z6 Setup Guide - Custom Settings to Change 

I’m a pro wedding photographer and eye af is great! Not always perfect but really quick and allows you to grab shot you’d miss if using single point af. The odd times eye af doesn’t work, I just switch modes to single point af. If you get your camera setup well, you can use the function buttons to swap modes quickly.

just a tip: the electronic VR mode as I am aware of, does a pixel shift ( like in DX crop mode), by shutting off some pixels, so some data/ resolution is lost, BEST idea is to use the standard VR modes, as these: move the whole sensor around [ibis], or shift lens elements/ groups around (lens VR as on F-mount glass), so if you want the best raw images it is best to stick to these modes. This argument also applies to the "silent shooting" mode, where the shutter is bypassed in favour of pixel turn on/off, just like an electronic shutter in the Fujifilm xt series of cameras; one other "silent" mode exists on these cameras, one that acts similar to the 'Q' mode in nikon dslr's, where the shutter is opened by the button press, the sensor shuts off(to end the exposure), and the shutter is closed again, BUT ONLY WHEN THE BUTTON IS RELEASED !- this makes the "noise" only when you are ready, so in the case of a shy deer, etc. you can put the rig under your jacket and make the 'noise' in safety, not alerting your 'prey' you are there. MY understanding of this, again is to trust the 'Q' mode like silent shooting, and restrain from using the other "ELECTRONIC OPTION" UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, as image quality can be sacrificed at the expense of quiet operation, and also reduced battery life, as all these "bells & whistles" use more power than their mechanical of nature counterparts!

I have ben a Canon and Fuji user, tried Sony and hated the Menu (A7III) and decided to buy a Nikon D500 (Z6 on the way). I found it very easy and intuitive

Could you make a video to transfer RAW image from Z6 to Lightroom and also if you could show the ways to use the remote control using snap bridge that would be great as I have seen a spanish video, where the guy takes awesome pics using remote and snap bridge as he gets the composition checked in phone and clicks with remote. Not sure the best remote for this as I am new to this Cam.

Loved the video! One question, my image size only goes to 10.3 not 24. Like yours shows. What have I done to limit the size? I have firmware 3.0 (came already loaded when it came in).

You made a mistake in the beginning. It doesn t show image or video cause you zoomt out. Zoom in till there is 1 image and then you can play

My camera arrived today, my pictures have so much noise although the ISO is at 100, I have used the focus on one point and automatic (the last one), exposure is on 0 and still all my pictures have such bad quality!
