Was just as interested in seeing the build and ergonomics of each bracket up close both off and on camera and a discussion of pluses and minuses, such as whether they block buttons, battery door, etc.
Cheers for making the vid, currently looking for an L bracket, which company uses the qd clip please, looked like there was a socket on the bottom of one of the brackets you tested
Peak design make a clip. Here s their l-bracket: Zaara L-Bracket (Review) for Nikon Z9 from 3 Legged Thing (including vertical photography test) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p6JlMApJAO8.html
I have a qd strap from Leofoto but unfortunately I am not able to find L bracket for Z9 from Leofoto with qd system. Customer care says a new version of their L bracket has this system but not able to give any link to the product. Seems like Kirk L-Bracket for Nikon Z9 Mirrorless Camera has that qd attachment system but it is quite expensive. In this video (at time take 6.30) Promediagear has the QD attachment hole but looks quite cumbersome.
@@RalphMayhewPhotographydid you get this info from somewhere or look at them and determine they're the same? Was trying to choose between sunphoto and small rig, heard both have stability issues in portrait orientation- but was wondering if one maybe has less than the other. I don't use a tripod often enough to justify the kirk pricetag.
@@uhoh7541 with subway in hand I looked online in detail at Small Rig and they looked identical and then someone told me that there experience was that they were.
@@RalphMayhewPhotography Thanks for reply! Since posting my question, I purchased a smallrig. While it does have some flex in portrait, another youtuber had a tip to limit this and I'm very happy with the product. It would take a drastic change to my photography to need more than what it provides.
