Great video! What lens do you use? Because the Spider seems little!

It is the Nikon Z MC 105 VR to which I have added extension tubes - typically 29 mm yielding magnifications larger 1 to 1 (about 1.5 to 1). On the stacked picture of the female spider I used 58 mm tubes (about 2 to 1 magnification). The body size of the spiders are 5 mm (male) and 7 mm (female) - so with these magnifications you get frame filling pictures. All pictures are taken handheld.

@@DynNat thank you again! Very usefull info! I use extension tube too with the nikkor 200 f4, but i have to do manually!

Yes this is tough (which extension tube length are you using ?) ! I often use the camera lens after a manual prefocus to give me 30 pictures for stacking and then either increase the depth of sharpness or pick the picture I like. Also this helps against small movements of the subject. All the best Michael

@@DynNati use Nikon PK-13 (27,5 mm) and pk-11A (8 mm). And i can get 1,5:1.

@@artesorobaserria Thank you !! I am planning to do a more extensive video on Makro with the Nikon Z system. I think 1,5 :1 with a 200 mm lens is really great !!
