His face clearly shows that he is connected to the Universe, as if he was rocking in the milky way and he met God...that's Indian music is all about. Pt.Niladri Kumar is the pride of India.
The most insane concert I have watched in my life. Niladri's uniqueness even overshadows the maestro John Mclaughlin & Shakti's work. Hats off to the drummer Sambit Chatterjee who could very well match his awesome work with the likes of the maestros like Steve Gadd, Billy Cobham and Dennis Chambers. And this maverick Lead Guitarist with his excellence at mins 16.01 and a masterclass solo at mins 22.53. Freaking mind blowing. Hats off to the rest of the musician artists too. This is in World Domain.. Salute from Australia!!
I think I'm very late in knowing such a gem like you.. why didn't I know you earlier ... I wasted so many years without knowing and watching Niladri g's performance.. You are a real "Ustad" and a real master of this skill You insert your soul into your work, and that's why you are so special... Listening to your work is good but watching you perform is an entirely different experience
Wow thank you so much live arena Harman bahot Dino k baad ye nilandri Kumar Sir k ye wala video k talash me tha... Finally aaj mil hi gaya... Thank you Harman thank you nilandri Kumar Sir
Western chord structures and harmony have been their in the music of India all along- just unspoken. Niladri plays eastern melodic scales, and it blends with the Western style perfectly 👌 🎉 it is truly One world 🌎 One music 🎶 bravo namaskar 🕉
This is amazing, otherworldly. The way Western music and Eastern music are blending and creating such beauty and movement- so energetic, and subtle at times is truly Wonderful. 🎉🕉
Prashant da. . Love u a ton dada.. . Just mindblowing. . . Much love n regards to the entire team. . Specially my all time favrt "N K". . LOVE U SIR. .
Drummer saved the show. Otherwise it's quite boring. I am a big niladri fan and I love his classical music. But he should not try western music. He should stick to what he is best at.
While I agree with to a certain degree, but we need to see the fact that such renditions are a way to introduce to Indian music to the newer generations which are usually not interested in such music. Kudos to Niladriji for encouraging such kind of music.
@@mr.pizzapanda7054 How this music can introduce to indian music? There is nothing from indian music in this. There is beat sure and very good, thank to the drummers, but not taal. Nilidra, who is certainly a virtuose, wastes his talent to conquer the western public. Most of his technique is to demultiply and then multiply the number of strokes on each beat. Poor imagination.
@@mr.pizzapanda7054 It's not true that present generation doesn't understand the ABCD of Indian classical music, after all today's young people too have the Indian Heart, definitely they will enjoy the Indian music provided they are given exposure to Indian music. Such kind of fusion will make the Indian music a fast food like Pizza, burger whi have no original taste of any culture
If this kind of fusion would’ve been presented at the right time by mixing Indian classical melody with western harmony and instrumentation, Indian classical music wouldn’t have become a dying tradition. It would’ve been equivalent to pop music, where a raga based song of a certain Prakriti would’ve actually brought those emotions to all listeners and not just the ones who have knowledge of classical music
I read insecurity and jealousy in your comment. I hope you grow up and think before just saying rude comments. Under any negative comment there is a sad person. Celebrate what you like and ignore what you don't
@@javiercisternasnajle I comments from my 51 years musical experience...I have no need any suggestions from anyone...at least you think about yourself before any adverse comments...I say further nothing was good except vocal..it is my personal taste...your any comments are completely value less for me...thanks.
He prabhu, saari sadbuddhi mujhe hi kyun de di aapne? Thoda inko bhi dijiye! O Lord, why did you give all the wisdom to only me? give some of it to him too!
