It seems that many of the artist felt the same about Nile because many of them achieved big success however, they didn't repeat the success. I never understood that. Especially Diana Ross, who didn't write at all needed Nile because her next album didn't do that well and i am saying that lightly. Nile was and still is a musical beast! Love him still.

I’m pleased with Nile Rodgers for telling this idiotic interviewer “let me finish”. Omg that was so awful, why keep interrupting when he’s telling the story? Can only be one possible reason, the interviewer wants to make it about himself. After you ask a question shut up and let the other person finish. There’s only one legend involved in this interview and a nobody, yet mr nobody wants us to hear him talk.

Brilliant bass player, I enjoy strapping on my musicman stingray and playing some of his bass lines. Another bass player I enjoy is George Murray (David Bowie's old bass player). I miss that kind of music, I can't remember the last time I listened to the charts and heard a good song with great musicianship.

The music biz is so astoundingly inept for the most part, but when Nile Rodgers tells you he's gonna sell 5 million records with Madonna or whoever it is.....you need to listen. Look how many records Chic sold for Atlantic on a relatively unknown band at the time. And that was just Chic warming up!
