I think you got the two nozzles mixed up. There is one short and one long. The one that you claim is used for washing cars, long, (wider stream and less power) is actually more powerful than the short nozzle, provides a cutting effect as well. I used that cutting effect to clean moss off of a roof when the short nozzle simply could not hack it.
Thanks for your feedback. We feelit's important to give as much info as possible. We buy a lot of kit ourselves as you can imagine and we know that many of the product reviews on other sites are simply their to sellthe tool rather than give anyone useful info!!
Take a look at our new video on the brother of this Nilfisk pressure washer, the Nilfisk 120.6 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E25j6Q4lKRw.html
Hi Jim, I didnt get to dismantle this machine but the guys tell me that the filter is a simple mesh "hat" which sits inline by the inlet pipe. It simply pulls out, can be flushed under the tap and put back. There is no need for a screwdriver. Are you using the same model? Let us know and we willlook into this more deeply.
Nice little review. Thanks a lot. Tip for the video - you have these lines running, especially noticeable when movement is in the scene. This is because of 720/1080i or interlaced video. Usually when you are encoding - make sure you de-interlace to remove this. Best of luck.
Hi Mark, Ive just been on to the Nilfisk help desk and I have to say the service is smply great. I spoke to a guy who told me that allof the Nilfisk domestic machines (other than the hot water machines) can work from a tank. You will need to prime the pump first however. This means connecting to either mains or a tank where the water outlet is at the bottom of the tank so some pressure is created, run the water for a few seconds to make sure the pump is primed (or full up) and then the inlet hose can simply be dropped into the tank....Make sure the tank does not run out though, the washer can be damaged if the pump is operating dry. Good luck and please do let us know how you get on.
Sorry we did not please you this time. We do not stage-manage our videos, they are what they are and the vehicles being cleaned may not have been the dirtiest but they were real and the Nilfisk did its job.Not every car you clean will be absolutely filthy either.
