My first time seeing Nimrod was in the animated series when I was a kid. I thought he was terrifying and that was before I really understood how powerful/dangerous he really was.
@@coltkillergaming5685 What's a full powered Nimrod. Nimrod is powerful but not as powerful as people make him out to be. I can name atleast 20 X men villains that are either superior or on par with him.
i think this will lead to the first example of what magneto said when the marauders rescued those prisoners when he said "many tales will be told of Krakoas might"
It's actually kind of funny when you think about it, because one of Cypher's skills is also in reading body language, right? So it may be that just how Xavier approached him gave enough uncertainty and his body language to make him come to the conclusion that he may be less trustworthy.
Moira has lived through several timelines where the Mutants always lose. This proves the Krakoan idea would have worked, and her 10th lifeline would be the won Mutants win, because Omega lived through that. Omega is sent back in time from a later point of Moira's 10th lifeline. And that's probably why the Mutants will fail this time. Because Omega holds the cards now. Moira just knows of alternate timelines, Omega knows of this one and how it's unfold and where she can nudge things in her favor.
It kind of seemed to me like the two accounts of the future could have been about the same future(s). I'm pretty sure that in one of the alternate futures, there was a group of mutant refugees living in the Shi'ar Empire, the place where the Phoenix Blade comes from. Also, we didn't see the Phalanx actually convert the Earth before McTaggert died, so it's possible that it got destroyed moments after her death.
She's a Moron and Moira was a solutely right about her and Mysique because the mutants do win and Krakoa was in fact the answer making Destiny's last note to Mystique sound foolish.
Here’s how I read it in regards to Omega: she’s from the future of this timeline. Moria lived all her lives and mutants lose in each. This tenth timeline is the one that succeeds. Everything omega talks about comes out of this single timeline where mutants beat everything that’s thrown at the, man and machine alike. She she comes back in time to stop them for good. Which means this plan, krakoa, actually works and solidifies the mutant dominion over the universe.
After listening to the comics explained for all of the X-Men comics, I am now going to buy every single Jonathan Hickman X-Men comic run in the past couple of years
Naw. as a mutant, Could u trust that everything out of prof X was true? Maybe not. But could u trust that anything he does is for the betterment of the mutant race? Yes. Same could be said for magneto.
Still to me one of the best pictures of the top 3 x players. Hollywood Professor X,Stone Cold Magneto and Big Poppa Apocalypse entering the room with suits on!!! Man then Apocalypse talking to the people was hilarious 😂
Mystique and Oracle is going to pay for this big time Everybody let their desires and pride get in the way of that whole nation's future that's basically why they were founded in the first place
SO Nimrod was the hero, all along! I don't know why I was surprised to learn that the mutants become the villains, but here I am. I thought joining hands with Magneto, Apocalypse, Mister Sinister, and Emplate could only have led to fun times for both species...
Basically. The mutants are morally in the right to fight back because realistic people on both sides know only one can dominate. For the sake of an interesting story we need characters like Xavier.
14:42 Moira and Karima don't necessarily contradict each other, though. It's said in the issue that THIS Karima comes from earth's 10 future, so the events of said future wouldn't be common news to anyone on Krakoa. Mutants always lost until life 9, the current timeline(earth 616) is the one that they're supposed to "break all the rules" and win. That's why Karima came from life 10 future and now the timeline is, once again, a mess.
This is life 10 that we are reading not 9. The life we are reading is the reality where the mutants win. Karima is from the future of life 10. And brought to the present of life 10.
@@AdrianMendoza23 this is what I said, tho? "Mutants always lost until life 9, the current timeline(earth 616) is the one that they're supposed to "break all the rules" and win"
@@nobodyknowsforsure If Moira dies, she may be reborn again erasing her 10th life. Moira would start all over again in her 11th life. Her mutant power is somewhat similar to what happened to Bill Murray in Groundhog Day.
Great retcon use of an immortal ... What all the mutants. Have died and are being resurrected exçept those who won't contribute to the story... Do you know what I s see.
Rob, one correction: When Moira dies, the timeline she was in doesn’t keep going without her. It is destroyed. The only things that persist are those that are able to enter a black hole (a “Dominion” and pass beyond the boundaries of space and time before she resets. If you go back to Powers of X 6 (I think it’s 6?) when we see the end of her 6th life, The Librarian makes all that clear. If she dies with her mutant power in this timeline, it will destroy and reset the entire Marvel 616 Universe back to the point of her birth. This version of 616 will no longer exist (unless they retcon that the way they did with, say, Age of Apocalypse).
@@Subject_Keter man I don’t know if u look at her history she would be more of the same. Messing with Scott while he was vulnerable,Getting the hellions killed, messing with Jean and causing the dark phoenix era, the whole hellfire era, making magneto have to kill innocent mutants she’s got a lot of red in her past that would give me major red flags.
For a so called X-Men fan it boggles my mind that Rob doesn't know that Charles Xavier has been placed in clone bodies and even de aged a few times. That's why Jean gets older and Chuck stays at the relatively same age
I've been on the fence with Xavier since that one panel of him sashaying around the mutants while they were in those regrowth pods and he looked sus af. I was like uh that looks like typical bad guy behavior. but bad or good I still love Xavier and magneto. They just have too much history and development to hate. I can't hate doom either
@Lujack Shaw Yep Xavier low jack's bodies it's one of the most terrifying abilities a psychic can use. But the writers won't narrow down a talent no one can touch Xavier at. When he does lose Xavier is sure to find a way back this has been his method.
11:36 Historically, X-men have used the M'kraan Crystal for most of their multiversal shenanigans. It's in Sh'iar space but enough mutants are friends with enough of them that they can get access to it when they need it. Also, since this is Hickman and he likes using stuff that was hinted at earlier, the mutant named Gateway probably has the ability to jump between realities with the portals he creates. He can already go through space, time, to other physical dimensions, and to realms representing abstract concepts so I wouldn't put it past him to be able to do more. He showed up in Maruders #2 so we know he is wandering around somewhere.
I wonder if Moira is from a point in time earlier than Omega. Omega might be experiencing a point in the time line where momentum shifts. It also could be possible that this is a stair step situation. Moira changes something the mutants win. Then Omega changes something and humans win.
moira came back to save the mutants. she finally succeeded in this current timeline (in which the mutant-nation of krakoa was formed), but omega is also from the future of this very timeline in which the mutants finally succeeded. basically, omega is back in the past from the future to do for the machines what moira did for the mutants.
I still dont trust Destiny or Emma; People can look at nice but cause great ruin especially since Destiny aint saying jack and her provokations may turn thr person down the path she sees... traitors in the grass.
Hey Rob, can you explain: 1)Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie Comics) 2) The Key(DC) 3)The Mother of Existence 4)Lobster Johnson 5)Reptil 6)Crimson Dynamo (Valetin Shatalov) 7)Blue Beetle(Jaime Reyes) 8)Cyborg Superman Beyond Omega Level: Odin’s Doom(Ultimate Alliance Final Boss Dr Doom) Ultra Instinct Shaggy
Not going to lie, with nimrod about to go against magneto and Charles, I can’t help but feel like something is going to go wrong and now we have to deal with a Nimrod Onslaught hybrid
Didn’t onslaught make a reappearance in new mutants or something a few months ago? Only to get put back in the can for later, he was around for 2 issues. It’s on robs channel I just don’t know the series it’s from.
@Upcycle Shoes plenty strong. Nimrod is basically the ultimate sentinel. He literally adapts based on who hes fighting. A telepath and a magnetism user probably wont fare well.
@@HerpaDurpVg could he adapt to to current Hulk? Who is the god damn manifestation of god's destruction, he's just so much cooler now that we know that.
@@SuperRONDALE he PROBABLY wouldnt engage Hulk on a physical level. But its REASONABLE to assume he would do something funky. Remember in Absolute Carnage, Carnage got the upper hand on a venomized Hulk by shoving Tendrils up his nose and fucking with his brain. Though we havent seen it yet i think, if Nimrod could copy Kitty Pryde's mutation then Hulk wouldnt even be able to hit him. In a 1v1 fight, my money is on Nimrod beating the Hulk. Which is why i said you NEED a TEAM to beat Nimrod. Maybe theres a limit to how many things he can adapt to at a single time.
I am magnificently confused; I side with Charles and Erik with all that's going and what it took to get this far they must be dubious. In the formation of the councils if both knew everything, they were bound to fall apart just to spite each other Mora would have no say and Xavier and Magneto would have only one vote not that of the second over ruling decision. For Mora her ability gained a shadow with Omega being the opposing unchanged factor in her death leaps, no one has a power all to themselves (that is how I see it for now). Honestly Mystique and Destiny have this only we matter no one else does going on, that cannot be trusted even with Emma going alone she is not out to ruin this mutant haven she just wants her fair share I get her. Nemrod, is getting the treatment I wanted for a long time he gets a longer run, not just it's a super threat get him out now six chapters at best. Cypher and Warlock are doing a better imitation of Mystique without info; they are the two people who found out at the party there is also a secret door behind the VIP section. Do we tell the others?

Man! This was a book for the ages! It felt as important as those first 3 volumes of House of X. I fucking loooove JH and al the House of X writers
I think I figured out why Moira DeathDo not create alternate realities.. She's basically living a groundhog day round hall day paradox. Normally when any time travel is invoked there is a manipulation of the time stream And they live their lives moving forward. However Laura starts her life all the way over so the actions that She has done didn't exist yet. And because her "time traveling" is like a closed circuit or localized only to her she doesn't affect the universe at large. So even when she dies the events still move forward without her to ultimate conclusion so no divergence, so once she finally saves mutant kind she'll have to do it the exact same way over and over seemingly forever 🤷🏾♂️
Was I the only one that shouted when it was revealed that the X-Men win in Karima's timeline. I knew it was mathematically impossible. Moira only lived 10 lives, it just wasn't possible for the X-Men to lose EVERYTIME!
I get the leaders wouldnt want it but I want to see a WWE smackdown where the "Greater" Nimrod takes on all the Omegas in a tag team match. I get he isnt "Fully there" as he needs to swole up but in Inferno #1 it took him 8 minutes to kill Kid Omega, Domino and Wolverine on the 6th rematch and Nimrod needs to step his game up to prove his worth.
My theory is that Omega’s timeline and Moria’s timeline are the same. Moria died prior to the phalanx assimilated the future world. And that phalanx is actually Doug and warlock, with all of the mutant backups.
@@jamesburdo1058 as we know it. How does anyone know what happens to those timelines after Moria dies. From morias perspective those worlds end. But what confirmation do we have beyond morias perspective? Besides, Moria doesn’t live forever. Does this mean that those whole marvel universe dies when Moria dies of old age? Better yet, what happens if the 5 resurrect a Moria? How does that work?
Man that was a lot of information to take in But I wonder if you could I doubt that you would on Twitter post a picture of your giant size X-Men issue with the autograph Jonathan Hickman on it . that's real cool 😎
so nimrod kills them, big woop, they would be ressed moments later back on the island , they probably also have a copy of that whole system on mars now too , maybe deep in Shi'ar territory as well, they are all immortal and invincible
Someone would have to know they were dead, and with mystic and destiny being the only ones who know they are about to die, Xavier would have to reach out to someone and let them know to rez them. Also, if they die, nimrod is about to have Xavier's helmet.. assuming magneto doesn't do something to destroy it's data.
They should be unstoppable at this point, resurrection, mars, otherworld, amenth, the shiar empire and storm is also back with black panther who has a galactic empire as well. The humans/sentinels need to give it a rest already.
@@asssassyn They really aren't since other Metas ans the likes of Franklin Richards can with a snap of his fingers erase them if he wants to; and he isn't exactly aligned with mutants.
@@asssassyn Franklin Richards is "cool" with them because they never outright threatened his family, which this more ruthless version of the X-Men can certainly do. Hell, if he learns what Xavier did to his father he may well batter down Krakoa himself. But okay, I kinda agree about the mutant haters. Issue is that in a way; they are making weapons to "level the playing fields" ala MAD in a fashion too.
Hey Rob just a few thoughts on this breakdown 1st. The stepford sisters fate could be only 2 live and the other 3 die. I suspect one will love the other and become forever changed when the other one abandons her. 2nd, as paragon 1172000 stated both Moira and Omega are caught in a loop where each cancels out the other. Moira is seeing failure due to Omega getting victory in that timeline. Moira birth triggers the new timeline which becomes a win for mutants. This triggers Omega so she travels into the past to start a new timeline for the Sentinels. As for time travel mechanics I think both are only seeing the failure because in those timelines they reset. For example if Moira wins there is not need for her to go back for the reset. Since she doesn't "die" she would never know of the victory because Omega has reset....
What if Ra's al Ghul got the Ten Rings What if Doctor Strange got the Helmet of Fate What if Darkseid got the Cosmic Cube What if Deadpool got the Mask What if Darkseid fought The Avengers. What if Thanos got the Anti-Life Equation What if Shang-Chi was the Iron Fist What if Superman landed in Asguard What if the Batman Who Laughs invaded the Marvel Universe
Rob you are my man 50 grand! I want you to know that before I say the next part... Coo coo's, man! Stepford Cuckoo's (Coo Coo) you're killing me my guy! Lol great video!
H/POX showed all of Moira's lives by the end, so there's no undocumented one. And we do know which life Omega is from, it's stated in this issue, but Rob just missed it. Omega is from the future of Moira's current life, her 10th life.
Am I crazy or haven't we already learned that Moira is secretly working towards the extinction of mutants? And because she has always failed before she decided to manipulate Xavier and Magneto with her story of "Listen to me if you want to live...." while secretly fearing what happens if mutants are allowed to supplant humanity? Or is this just a crazy theory that has been rattling around in my brain for so long that I thought Rob was the one who told me it was so? Why is your sultry smooth voice now my internal monologue Rob!?! Huh?!? Answer me that!
We havent learnt Moira plans as of yet but in the Cure timeline, she wanted to cure herself but Destiny did the "Serve your fellow Mutant or Die!" Burning speech.
Doe I personally think Destiny is going to leave moira unable to die or cured so they csn off her. A grand schemer dying and forced to watch as eternal rolls out is a hell of a way to go and the way Moira was acting, something nasty is goinf to get her.
@@MM-hf6om If Xavier saw EVERYTHING in her mind, then why did she have to warn Xavier and Eric about the potential dangers destiny could bring to Krakoa? Maybe Moira, after living 10 lives, has learned a few tricks when it comes to hiding important details from telepaths? Xavier is powerful, but hardly all knowing.
Rob, I am a fan of your channel. And I have a huge question: I have DoFP comics and there is nothing aboutn Nimrod, only the Kitty Pryde storyline. What comics should I read to know more about Nimrod?
So im curious. Raven and destiny killed Moira because she wanted to cure the mutant condition. Now they want to kill her because they killed her and they fear the Repercussions of killing her? Wouldn't destiny already know what the outcome of killing her would be? That doing so works against mutant kind? It seems like destiny is just a plot device 🤔 have Raven and destiny always just been agents of chaos? Destroying for the sake of destruction? Idk.
Even worst, Destiny was like "I can sniff you out and wipe you out even if you go back! Dont tempt me!" And she lkke "What you MEAN burning a girl to death makes her "crazy" and i got no plot to stop her already in motion" just weird.
@@pierre0227 I think they are doing the "Fallout New Vegas: Dead Money" kind of saving where you break thr persons legs to keep them alive just long enough to do X
When will the mutants figure out that if the sentinel program is so deadly to them and can end the mutant race across many timeliness then the obvious solution would be to start their own sentinel program before the humans do?
@@victorpleitez768 it's even rougher in space. Instead of being hated for being mutants now everyone hates you because your from earth. You ever live door to a baboon family or across the street from a house full of brood? They make the Klan look like power pack.
Prolly because it would accelerate an arms race. Mutants already have far more power than baseline humanity and the Sentinels are there to serve as a deterrent to even the playing field. Humans would make something stronger in response.
If the mutants make any thinking machine to conduct their wars, Humanity will eventually figure out how it works and that they will infect the machine to attack mutants most likely. Basically Venom: The End but Mutants are fighting tech god Tony Stark
@Lujack Shaw look, I get it, but a race of godly super beings are too good for Earth. It’s crazy they went this long before having all the mutants unite under one sovereign nation, and I do believe their future is to live amongst the stars.
I’m 14 haven’t been reading comics for a few months besides dark ages which is really good buy the way to go pick it up and writing fanfiction of my own Which I made a fan made version of the human torch who is a x-Men member who’s dating Jean Grey
It's time Charles uses his upgraded Cerebro to make a mess of the humans and mind control them, so at least they can serve as fodder for Nimrod and Karima, and let Mags deal with them both. It's time to use the so called "Most Powerful Mind on Earth" to good use. I'm tired of Charles being like the princess Peach of X.
"I closed my eyes in mutant hell and opened them years ago -- here, on earth. All my days of a future past." Man, I'm pretty sure everyone got it wrong when giving their theory's on what Inferno 3 would be about. I know I was completely off. I love that Omega & Moira are both mirror images of what they are both trying to accomplish: to stop the annihilation of each others species. I do love that Omega's time travel adventure is the inverse to Kitty Prides in Chris Claremont's Day's of Future Past. This issue answered some lingering questions since HoX/Pox and asks new ones (like that cadavers are used to create Krokoan medicine. How did Beast get cadavers and who are these bodies?) Rob doesn't mention that Orchis is rebuilding Mother Mold. I'm still with my theory that Mystique will finish the job that she planned in X-Men 20 and blow up Orchis. I'm hoping Mystique uses another one of Forges bombs and teleport's it straight to the Orchis base in space. I assumed the the first Nimrod that the humans send back in time is Chris Claremont's Nimrod from the 80's. Though in this issue the word "lesser" is highlighted and in Moira's life 9 Nimrod is known as "Nimrod the Lesser".
When it comes to nimrod, how is it possible ultron hasn’t gotten involved with him, or even just taken over his body. Can you imagine ultron in nimrods body clad in adamantium? Indestructible, as smart as something can be, with the ability to adapt to any power, and create any power you could possibly ever need or want.
If comics took place in real time, Jean Grey would now be a 72 year old granny, driving a Buick, and proud member of a bowling team. living on social security, enjoying a michelob light with her soap operas, and collecting old western style lamps. Lord only knows why, she just has to collect something. And smoking Winston 100's. And every time Rachel (who is like 58) says "Mom, you gotta quit, those things'll kill ya." Jean says "Ah hell *snort* the whole damn Shi'Ar Empire couldn't kill me, so who cares."
