This is a German remake of a song by The Tubes called "White Punks on Dope". The lyrics are different. Nina stayed with this band only through their first 2 albums. Afterwards, the band called themselves Spliff and made a few albums. I have the DVD this concert is on. It also has a concert from 1998 with different band members. It is called The Nina Hagen Band at the Rockpalast.
@@MikeMacabre Yep. You're intro is fine, but when you start talking the sound is really barely audible. The sound of the music video itself is fine as well. On the dB meter it's about 30 dB difference, and that's a logaritmic scale.
Excellent song choice. Kind of Krautrock history. A "Glotzer" is someone who is not just watching, but obsessively stares to the TV. THis is why Germans call the TV device also "Die Glotze" ("die" = fem. "the"). Btw. you need to correct the title.
