I couldn't care less, with Nina it isn't about the mixing skills, it's about the track selection, which is always unique and outstanding! A lot of dj's could learn from her
It's funny to read the men hating on her in her videos. Could the hate be due to a phenomenon known as "ball shrinkage" when men see a woman who is better than them at something?
I think the fact many of us are still jamming to this in 2015 is a testament to the timelessness of some music. How many EDM or other artists can you say that for? Techno has traveled from Detroit, as music by the disenfranchised, to the whole world, reaching even Siberia and the halls of Oxford. In light of your recent talk there, and before that, your performance at the Guggenheim, thank you Nina for helping to elevate the genre of electronic music.
+Lily Zhang i threw this on today and did a double take as the previous set i had on (shigeto @ giles peterson ww, from last week) ended with omar s's set it out as well. :] ... to timeless music
She shouldn't be judged on her looks alone, as she is beautiful, but a real passion for music & plays from her heart what she thinks ull hopefully like, not like alot of djs who just churn out anything for the sake of it ❤️

Even though it's minimal and from 2009 I love that set, nina you are the best !! Dont listen those negatives jealous guys who are trying to put you down.
Just came across this while watching a Solomun set. So glad I did. I am from a very southern region of the U.S. where most people have never even heard of this type of music. I have spun house for many years but after listening to Solumun and now you, Nina Kravitz, I am on the techno high! Hoping I'll get to see you live sometime! Thanks for doing what you do so well!
+Julie Davis Cheers to you 2! I've recently started putting some of my stuff on SoundCloud. I spin under the name Mitchelli, check me out some time. ;)
LocoCioco thanks for the recommendations - I have actually been listening to Villalobos & Marco Carola quite a bit the past few months, but I will definitely start looking for the artists you mentioned! :) I have actually been spinning a lot the past couple months too. You can check me out on Soundcloud, just search for Mitchelli. Take care!
If anybody should feel the need to criticize Nina Kraviz, then do so by admitting that she should be held to a higher standard. Is that confusing? Let me elaborate. As far as I'm concerned, Kraviz is an excellent DJ per definition. I tend to find the most hidden gems in her sets; her mixes tend to be eclectic, as well as being far-reaching between the ever so stretched boundaries between the concrete triangle of House, Techno, and Minimal. I'm no expert when it comes to mixing, but I've tried hard to find any flaws in her mixing. I have yet to come up with any sort of criticisms. I wish we could look past the fact that she's a violently attractive woman; I think if that were the case then there would be less scrutiny of her. I will say that I'm no fan, personally, of her as a producer, but that's just me. Her tunes just aren't my cup of tea. But damn, I do get a kick out of her sets, and I enjoy being able to look up the numerous tracks that she implements in each set. There's a whole lot of passion emanating from this Russian broad: isn't that what counts?
Ver como es en este video que paso hace 9 años y ver ahora hasta donde a llegado, es tremendo. La mejor Dj del Año! Música que da inspiración en muchas áreas!. Grande Nina!!!
vlajster stfu you piece of shit, i like her music too, she's one of the queens of techno (alongside with Nicole Moudaber, Rebekah)i just saying she's beautiful and that's all, i'm not a fucking poser, i listen to her
