Speaking on behalf of BMXers: Tate is the man. Yes it is outside of the conventional tricks, and some people would consider it 'goofy', but the huge majority are stoked on creative, progressive, fun riding! Probably similar to how skaters look at people like Andy Anderson. Also you would be surprised how many BMXers are fans of The Nine Club. I for one never miss an ep, and have never skated in my life.
The dynamics between all of them is awesome one of the best podcasts out there. Entertaining,informative,engaging with the viewers,hilarious and just a chill atmosphere. When they were talking about sleeping and Chris said well the ultimate goal is to wake up i laughed my ass off from the way he said it. And I'm still laughing 10 mins in. Already a great episode
I've never clicked on a video from XGames before I saw the Stevie Williams documentary. Stevie's story is - hands down - the most inspiring story in skateboarding.
I’m gonna go and say it now, Cariuma is the new VITA(the shoe company Jason dill rode for back in the day) that came in , paid a lot of money to riders to try and gain traction/momentum and left just like that Bc deep down even the riders knew it was wack but it was a good paycheck.
As a lifer BMX dude and skater, I love the Nine Club--nothing but love for the Nine Club. Jeron nailed it about Tate Roskelly. He's the most creative dude going and is having fun. That's everything!

Chris, I ride bmx (not even as weird as Tate) but theres NO WAY a true bmxer is not down with what he does. He is as freestyle as you can get. and looks damn fun.

@@SatelliteSoundLab It's something to with how it affects your REM sleep, there's a lot of articles about it. I smoked for about 16 years and my dreams were non existent. However I do know some long time smokers who still dream regularly, so no idea what the difference is that makes one dream/not dream.
I smoke mad weed daily and I have some good dreams that I half the time remember well. But I do slightly agree.. When I stopped smoking for 3 months. I would have very vivid dreams. It was wild.
Bmxers watch loads of skate content. I’ve always found it weird that it doesn’t happen the other way round. But I guess it is a scale thing. Especially in the US. Bmx is a bigger deal in Europe. You should check out Erik Elstran.
oxidisation happens when veggies/meats are out in oxygen. if you put them in water[or brine them with salt water] you are creating a vacuum packed seal on the object from the air[oxygen] so it will keep longer
Just throwing this out there, for a 1.5 hour show I feel like Mike Vallaley would be a great host to anchor the show if they do decide to take a vacation if not him then Eric Koston would be another great choice. In my opinion.
You joke, but a nine club bar with a VIP section where teams could stop by on tours and film content, other skate channels can stop by to shoot their own interview content and stuff and give you a little fee so they can put "Interview with X at the nine club stop and drink" and then a touristy section with overpriced drinks like "Switch flip switch mango" and "the slappy crob" and "The Stella Art'Rog."
soul grinds have nothing to do with the amount of wheels on rollerblades - it's the crooked grind for bladers, done on any aggressive skate set-ups. the set-up they're referring to that he's skating with, there, is called anti-rocker, w/ 2 x dummy wheels per skate, so you can grind bigger ledges/rails/etc. prior to going out of business, xsjado skates pioneered an *only* 2 x wheels per skate set-up, where the front and back wheels had a near-full frame serving as the grind service between them, so you could grind on the most sizable of edges.
Its weird..as a bmx rider I am far more fascinated with skateboarding. I can skate a bit but speaking for myself that Tate Roskelly edit was mindblowing..wtf...wtf indeed. Edit: P.S. slider down stairs(a double set) gtfo
