@@thegreatslothlord7796 also, as a nine inch nails fan Ghost V and VI are miles better than 1-4. Ghosts originally sounded like Year Zero experimentation, which got boring fast... these Ghosts are much closer to The Fragile experimentation, and organic sounding experimental instrumentation, which idk sounds way more 'nin', at least to me.
His music has always helped me in dark times...and good. I appreciate this...he has something for every mood, every tone and every train of thought. That's masterful art...broad reaching and it is what it is..🙌
This has been my favourite so far.. So eerie and peaceful at the same time. kinda like the times of isolation... Thank you for this lovely gift Trent. These 2 albums are so good....
Yes, the main sound, and then there is something else going on, in the background, and that really leads the tone. What is it? Restlessness? That nervous sound. I relate to it but i can t even name it. Brilliant.
it reminds me of the 2nd verse of this indie track aclled influenced by reality, surely this artist has been down some nin spirals. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6ehS3Fq41Y8.html
It was you? I know I'm replying to a 2 year old comment, but I remember the moment Trent tossed it into the audience and always wondered how this tambourine ended :). Would love to see NIN in Poland again! Both shows (Poznań and Katowice) were so, so good!
@@kspl100 Indeed it was me 😎 No one wanted to let it go, so with the last competitor I won it in rock-paper-scissors 😜 And yes, it was one of the best concerts I've been to!
I fucking love this new style they have adopted. They know how to not say a word but still the music gives off a completely relatable mood. It's like New Classical or something. They have encapsulated the fear of mortality. The clock ticks for everyone.
Thank you so much for this. You are doing something that matters. \o/ This piece's title fits so well, it feels like a strange mix of anxiety and comfort. Thanks again for sharing it! I hope you and your loved ones are safe.
Went to the website to read the liner notes, scrolled down to see Atticus and Trent's pictures side by side in "ground glass opacity". Now that's some glorious gallows humor.
Anyone ever told you..."You can't make art and judge it too"...? If you're expressing your feelings in a pure honest way, no one can tell you your expression is wrong, invalid, or bad.
This is gotta be either heavily inspired by the Halloween soundtrack. Or maybe he was writing it for one of the new Halloween movies.. I love the addition of that slightly attitude piano key. The feedback sound with the 2 tones in the background reminds me of when I was learning how to tune it For the first time.
Been playing the game limbo since this album came out and quarantined, and the ambience is so amazing for both the gameplay and the unknown future of the world
Something is wrong, it's that uneasy feeling in your gut, not a pain, but a burning sensation that nags the very thought that something is to go horribly awry. Stumbling into a clouded mess of confusion, you find your feeling of uncertainty to be true, now you can only await the unknown.
Trent Reznor, any chance we can get links here to all of your other soundtracks? I'm also listening to What Comes Back, very cool track. Thanks for years of your talent, thoughts and music.
Not to the Locust quite yet only five months when we do. Soon as every one can forgive their trespassers, unconditionally love their enemies we can get the fuck out of here. Over due Trent Reznor, NIN Thank you all the same FUCKING RAD!!!
I had a dream where a pink fuzzy orb kept following me while locusts came down from the sky. And coincidentally the guy who wrote blade runner went crazy from the pink orb.
Im stuck at my workplace. The hall seems to be endless, the white tables in rows stretched till the limit of my sight. Pillars with dim white light at a distance of 4 meters. no one else present, This white and black place with complete silence but a ticking clock. I cant find the exit!!
This is seriously some of the most evil shit I've ever heard in my life. If there was ever a sequel to Downward, this woupd be the opening. Waking up in hell.
