Goumang's childhood was not as bright as one would say. As a young solarian, she lived in poverty without much shelter nor food. She would suffer countless nights of starvation and coldness to where her body became malnourished and weak. One day however, she was encountered by the head of the Council: Eigong. She offered her with enough care in exchange for Goumang's knowledge of scientific biology on greenhouses and incubators, rescources of growing crops and medicine for the poor. During her development as a Sol, she experienced with training 2 revived apemen to become her soldiers and protectors. And within her knowledge, she developed the Agriculteral Region, the food facility for those who starve. Years passed without fear of gluttony or hunger, but the sacrifices made were corrupted and dark. Some food would be fruit while the meat came from....those who were processed. And so, Goumang's control over her soldiers and region became more corrupted since. Now she would suffer the punishment for it by reaping what she sowed.
@@MosatPantouwXD Mainly after her legs got amputated, Yi puts the brainwave control device on her, kinda like how she controls the apemen. So she's kinda just immobilized or something. We didn't see her turn into a flower like the other Sols we killed so maybe she's still alive.
@@MosatPantouwXD True. She would've lost so much blood from that amputation. And not have enough to live. When solarians decay or rot, their bodies turn to flowers. If Goumang's body wasn't rotten or decayed throughout the whole game, that explains why she hadn't turned into a flower yet, no matter what ending you get.
Goumang: "Survival of the fittest! Rule of the strong! Let's resolve this the primitive way!!" Also Goumang: *sends her two Jiangshi soldiers to fight for her while she sits back and gorges herself on food* Ah, hypocrisy at it's finest.
Is it me or did she get her arms and legs amputated to be more bird-like before you fight her. Like i doubt she those during her life of poverty. If you see in her past she had her limbs in her adult. Just what possessed her to lose them?
absolutely correct, every Solarian is actually feline. i can only assume her new harpy legs actually are anti gravity devices, seeing as her "wings" are not nearly adequate to lift at all. she also only uses her arms, to change position, and hovers without effort.
There is a brief mention in some lore with Shaunshaun discussing genetically modified food and organisms. Yi mentions that there was a group of Solarians who lived in desert/waste regions and used GM to given themselves avian features to be able to live and thrive in those regions. I assume she got those late because she was an orphan and uncared for, but gave them to herself when she became an esteemed biologist.
Well played bro! But I kinda disappointed in this boss since we don't really fight her but her children. Her claws and wings really looks good on her but it's a shame to not see it in action.
That is the point behind such bosses. They allow others to do the work for them so they don't have to get their hands dirty. In return, they rely on the others to do the work for them and lose the ability to know how to fend for themselves in a combat situation.
That was the point of her boss fight. She yammers on how strong should rule the weak, but then sits back and lets her two strongmen fight in her stead while she relaxes and eats. People like her are hypocrites to the core.
From New Kunlun Central Hall (the main white hall in the map), go upper right and from there go straight to the right all the way until Goumang ambushes you.
I don't understand Goumang. Like, seriously. Is she meant to be a historical parallel to Soviet agricultural development? As many rapidly industrializing nations, the Soviets developed their mechanized agriculture with great human cost, but they were Lysenkoists. They mistakenly believed unfit specimens could become fit given enough time and exposure. If so, why did they make her a Social Darwinist? Social Darwinists say there's no hope for the unfit. If she's got a "survival of the fittest" mentality, then it makes no sense for her Sol Seal to be "Equality". If she believes in working alongside peasants and providing enough food for everyone, wouldn't that abundance neutralize the natural selection that purges the unfit? Also she's using Mendelian evolutionary principles to grow her crops, and that Lysenko condemned. I guess the creators shot in every direction with this one. They even made her hot dom mommy. Also that was by far the easiest boss fight in the game, not even a second phase.
From New Kunlun's Central Hall in the map, go all the way to the left. You'll reach all the way to the Factory, and from there you can get in an elevator that lifts you down. From there, go to the left again until you reach the warehouse, and defeat the boss that lives there.
Greed. Corrupted and easily manipulated. Paying those to fight your wars, while you horde all the riches. While holding the whip that enslaves them. These Jiangshi are why I don't like people who see fit to lightly-treat life as nothing.
Girls with mind-control technology: "I'm gonna sit back and send my zombie slaves to attack you" Boys with mind-control technology: *i have plans that i cannot share with you right now because the haters will sabotage me*
Yeah people who use the word "bot" unironically are nowhere near as smart as they think they are. The story is very black and white, if you think the Sols are in the right, you really need to reexamine things about yourself.
