mine just got here, i thought it was broken because you actually have to kick to start moving before it goes but holy crap it moves lol, If you curious about getting one just do it and you will have a blast!
Hello, I love your review on this beautiful scooter. It was very helpful and I decided to purchase one this morning. Can yiu share with me where you got the elastic yellow elastic that you use to carry the scooter with . Thanks !!
I have a es4; use it to travel around Singapore with a seat. Front wheel is a weakness, tire threads is wearing out fast, I have to thread it when it wears out. Changing the front tire is costly at 120 dollars in Singapore. Adding a seat makes traveling more comfortable. Great for tight paths and narrow corners, that larger scooters will have problems on.
You can buy an small rubber that clip onto the mud guard to extend it to stop rain go on your back. I want to get one but concern how it will survive the wet condition.
quick question: as a 13 year old, I ,however, find this product very interesting and want to purchase it. However, I think that there is an age requirement of a permit, which I am not yet eligible for. Do you think I could possibly ride the scooter in like empty parking lots and areas like that? I weight 120 and am 5'6.
Hey! Thank you for that mention about rainy wheather riding that can make your back really dirty. I also notice that and it's very anoying. I was thinking that it's only problem in my scooter but other's too.
I just bought the white industrial one, built like a tank, never knew i was a scooter guy, but the reviews on this one are great 👍👍👍i got the fixed version ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Saves a lot of battery by having to manually push it to get started, as opposed to scooters that will accelerate from a dead stop. I bought the Max and am 53 yrs. it’s perfect for my needs too. The industry spends a lot to market bigger, better and faster scooters (dual motors, 30-40+mph. Chasing those will cost a fortune. 12-18 mph is perfect, and safe for a scooter. It is done with one motor which saves money too. If you’re looking for more speed a person should consider a Vespa (150-200cc) or motorcycle, but if all you need is a scooter this is the best IMO.
Solid tires/tyres will vibrate more, and more vibration will loosen screws. I'm interested in one of these but the solids make me wary, since I've used hand trucks with solid and inflatables. They are a world of difference. I know about the flats with inflatables, but I was wondering if there are aftermarket tires with flat resistant layers built-in (my bicycle tires are like that). Can front and rear tires be rotated? I'm 200lbs and could see myself wearing tires out fast. New York roads suck so bad
My es4 has a sealed rear suspension! It's a big battery de branded lime. Heavier duty motor and extra battery all for 400 bucks! I can tell from my dad's es4 it has a lot more punch off the line and the only down side is it doesn't fold up...😔 Also since I don't have an apple phone only Android I can't turn underneath lights on either.
Thanks for the great review, I live in Ireland and it seemingly rains non-stop. How can they design an undersized rear mudguard then?. Is this Escooter only designed to be ridden in the Sahara Desert? I now for one will not be interested in this model, cannot imagine racing about the damp or wet streets of Dublin with a muddy streak all down my back. Also, the exposed rear undercarriage suspension will as you say require constant maintenance. Guess in this day of I.T. there are many idiots out there that will buy anything online without even seeing it, let alone test driving it!!. All the manufacturers need do then, to defend themselves is have a highly aggressive Customer Relations/After Sales Service to fob the meek and foolish off. WHF!!
Yes that was me. I liked it over the others because of the lack of exposed wires. It was a cleaner look for me. I did not even think about the rain here because I mainly work in the summer months. As I say on our channel "We make the mistakes for you" Thanks for watching.
30 km/h another fellow canadian ?ok ontario lol i just heard you say london i wonder if your roads are better than montreals. i have to zigzag every where especially in residential areas . btw very nice strap add-on to hold it
Awesome review. Just have Some questions on this Scooter do you still Recommend it..and For maintenance on it is it easy to work on looking for something like this To commute
david diaz after looking at the newest version of this scooter, I would still get this model because of how easy it is to fold and carry on the train or bus. That is still perfect for my situation. Maintenance is just using some WD40 on the shock every couple of weeks. I have not tried to re-grove the front tire yet, but I will be doing that before I try to change it out! I hope this helps and please subscribe to our channel if you haven’t yet. More reviews to come!!
kasper larsen thanks for watching and hopefully subscribing to our channel. Go to amazon and search for Jeep grab handles there are many types to choose from.
@@s1d3k1ckRO Yeah, I too am still shocked. Van Moof is a very good local electric bicycle. E-bicycles are permitted as long as it's always pedal assisted. The new S3 Van Moof is awesome.
Thanks for watching!! I ordered them from amazon. They are call this on Amazon.com, "Jeep Wrangler jk 2007-Present black/lime 550 paracord front and rear grab handle grips set" Hope this helps and it seems to be working out great.
I got a issue I'm trying to solve. I have creaking coming from the back suspension of my scooter. I've uploaded a video onto my RU-vid channel. Please can somebody take a look and tell me what the problem may be. THANK YOU
I don't use it much during the winter months because I only work in the summer. However, it is still going strong. I do plan to re-grove the front tire in the next few weeks.
I'm planning on using this on my commute. Roughly 4 riding miles per day. Does anyone have a good estimate, barring I ride as recommended, and maintain well, on how many miles or years I should be able to get out of this? I don't wanna spend all that money if typical lifespan is going to be likely less than 2 years or 1600 miles. I realize I'll have to replace front wheel motor and rear wheel from time to time.
I have not owned mine long enough yet to answer this with confidence. I will update the video soon, as well as other reviews for things I use as a walking tour operator.

I will tell you another plus with the Ninebot ES4 Electric Scooter. When I did my researching before I bought my ES4/2 is the tires are tubeless meaning no punchers . The Ninebot Max and many other models involves changing tire tubes. So fare the Ninebot ES4 Electric Scooter has been the best scooter I’ve owned. I also have a Christchurch, New Zealand built Yike Bike but got many punchers on it and it doesn’t go as far. I do like my Yike Bike, I still use it for recreation. www.yikebike.com
