As many others I also have an love and hate relationship to my Z10. Because of my background as an former promotorcycle rider and mechanic I've been focusing on to get Z10 more comfy for my riding, 30-55km/h daily and 1-2 hour trips. An big change was calibration and testing different pedal angles, have now more dip angle, and I don't need to push it anymore for speed and no more sore legs and foots. And of course an MRN76 mod helped also alot. I propably gonna keep on upgrading and modify this wheel, just love it😍
You're absolutely right - this wheel is loved and hated intermittently. It's like the Mten3 but the M3 lets you control the Z10 controls you at the beginning, when you are learning. I know the Z10 because they lent it to me to test it. It has become a challenge, but I fear that it will be a challenge that could cost me dearly because I weigh 54 kilos and I am 57 years old OMG !! what am I doing?? That you will say. And you are right. I see it written and I see clearly that this wheel is not for me. My waist is screaming "NO MORE" So I give up buying this Z10 that one day I love and the next I hate. I want to have it, as a museum piece (like Mten3) but it is a danger because I see it leaning on the wall, it talks to me and tells me take me. hahaha He doesn't leave me alone. I must get her out of my house. Excuse me for extending myself so long, but the Z10 deserves it ... it gives a lot to talk about Te mando un abrazo desde Medellin Colombia GRACIAS!!
Hi there really love it to hear from you.. The z10 is special in a time that i felt lonely and tired of my life the z10 could make me cry and made me feel alive
Still holding on to my beloved NB One E+ all these years later. Despite not riding it, I couldn't bear to get rid of the one that started it all for me. 🥰
Another Z10 fanboy made happy! Not sure I’d agree about it wrecking my knees and lower back... I think if you move with it properly, your whole body aligns comfortably and you don’t stress out individual areas. At least I don’t seem to. This is the charm of it being a ‘physical’ ride... you are kinda MEANT to throw superhero shapes rather than standing like a sentry on duty. I ride mine every day. It is my only regular ride and in spite of being tempted by others, I’m married to this one and only it’s demise would separate me from it!
During the time that you only have a z10 you don't see this but when you move to something else you understand how much comfort you've been denying to your body. Love my z10 for a reason is the wheel that have more kilometers (more than 4000km) and I get it the say of riding. For a reason i reach 47.5kph on mine ;) big hugs and once again is a pleasure to see you in the comments
Agree with Matt. No issues with my body so far after 9k km at 3.0+ bar tyre pressure. And that is what one should pump in order to unleash the full potential of the wheel... I believe that the other remark depends on the personal preferences. As comfort is not my priority, I’d not give the unique features of z10 to a slightly higher comfort of a softer wheel. You don’t buy a sport car if you want to have a comfortable ride. I’ll follow your advice and won’t change my z10 for some more time to avoid issues with lower back and knees😄 hopefully there will be a few decent, problem-free wheels on the market then. I reckon that upgrading the battery to 1800wh will help me to survive till this time))
Like you know I still have my Z10 but when you ride and have the chance to test and have so many wheels you start to appreciate what other wheels give you. I used to love my msp.. Now I hate it after riding with ex and exn. Per example im now riding with the v12.. You need to accept that things evolve .. Its a funny wheel but is that.. No longer a wheel that can compete against more recent wheels. Continue to be my favourite in snow.. Or for rain it works really well but to many things missing makes me look to it as a classic wheel
@@MADpack I tested many wheels during the group rides, also for extended distance. But probably testing is not the same as owning. Will wait for the next reliable model on the market
Ninebot Z10 A classic that if you don't have, you are missing the fun.... Getting this one today as a daily driver I don't think is worth but please beware that is supported in Europe via Ninebot Romania. Currently, on the market, you can find only one wheel that is coming close to the Z10 built and safety quality and that is V11.
Yes and on the snow with stock tire was the best for me and there is a video on the channel of me riding off road the z10 that is the range test.. Search for it
@@MADpack my exn just came in, I'm not good with the tools like you, so my handy man is coming over tomorrow to put the honeycomb pedals, leg pads and the mud guard tomorrow to get it ready to go. But it's so cold up here in Boston right now it's like -11c that I'm waiting for better weather to enjoy it.
@@MADpack thanks. I will look at gotway models then. I ride a bike daily but wheel looks super interesting... I might need to loose some weight... But that's why I i Ride a bike haha
Since this tire is tubeless, is it possible to use plugs aka "bacon strips" for flat tire repair? I've seen videos on changing tires on these wheels and I'm trying to avoid the disassembly nightmare. Thanks for any advice 🙏🏻
I don’t think so bro because last time I have review I have already said that I didn’t recommend anymore so for me it makes no sense because the message will be the same bro
...so attractive......so special....so rare.....Z10 cannot be replaced by any other modern wheels.......it has this 'little thing' other wheels do not have......even if those other wheels are more powerfull with better tech :-)
O que achas deste modelo agora? Estou prestes a comprar está na faixa dos 1000 novo e será o meu primeiro achas que sera uma boa compra? Bons vídeos abraço
Is a short call. Around 1000 I use my v8f you have now the v8f with a bigger battery but is limited if you are a big guy is almost impossible that I recommend you something around does values
@@MADpack V8F goes for around $1200 here in the states. I never owned a EUC before so I don't want to spend TOO much money in fear of not using it and it collecting dust. Thanks so much for your input. I will consider the v8F
Is a good wheel to start you can buy the cover to protect is super light so easier to start and even when you want something bigger you can continue to use it like me is my wheel for the last mile
@@MADpack you are correct, sorta, if....I will repair it myself if needed. I have 3 other ninebot mini pro and s Plus and never had an issue that I can't remedy. I ride sensibly and take care of my toys. I just bought my Z10 on eBay and got a 2 year squaretrade warranty for 69.00. if it breaks down they pay me all of my money back. There is always a way to make things work out and yes it's a risk in many ways but to each his own. Thanks for the videos man, I enjoy your channel. Have fun !
We are getting old..for me suspension makes a lot of difference and almost essencial or have to come with a more bouncy tire to reduce stress on the knees
@@MADpack what do you about comparisson with Gotway MsuperX ? How is NB Z6 - noticable cheaper but slower, which seems like positive thing. Do you remember how much Z10 costed 4 years ago? Did price drop?
