Carlos Shimshon Definitely. I think the story is way deeper than that and Nines kinda hides what he really means by allowing the directors to coordinate the video. If this is truly a real story, Nines should have been the one to direct everything.

This video is so indepth and really delivers with the lyrics. I love how the video features the life that she left him behind in and the town. What stood out to me were the kids playing ball as if flashing back to when they were kids. It just hit home for me. It was moving to see it as the video showed that she may not have a lot in life, but what she had was not all that bad and she lost a lot!

I love Nines and this song but at the same time find it a bit hypocritical that he's rapping about this girl in a sympathetic way while also rapping and boasting about selling white and its more harmful variant. Anyone agree?
