Hey all. I've cut back on the memes a little bit for this video, but I will do my best to provide more next time. I wanted to get some content out to continue with the current momentum the channel has, so I edited this one pretty quickly. I hope you enjoy it.
Background music is The Crackdown from Fortnite's lobby music packs.

I've rode since early 1970s. two days ago I sold my 97 HD softtail evo to my son, and bought the ninja and rode it 80 miles home. Its quicker than the softtail. At 70 mph there's lots of emergency power left over, smooth running, super light with quick handling. I don't call it a starter bike . very pleasant to ride.

I got my 2019 about six months ago as a first bike and I love it. Besides the light weight and handling, the braking power is what impressed me the most about it. I feel what you said about the rear pillion seat though lol. I'm 6'2 and I weigh 285 so I bought the seat Kawi makes for this bike for taller riders. It made a big difference in terms of comfort.

This has been the stick by which all entry sport bikes are measured. I can't wait to see and ride the CFMoto 450SR. It looks way better, sounds better and comes with (according to online retailers) a 5-YEAR WARRANTY!!!! Looking forward to your review of that one. My 2012 Ninja 250 was stolen in the off season. If I don't pull the trigger on buying a house that I can't afford, I may be picking up a 450SR.

One For the Back Weel (Chain Lock) , The Other one You Can use it on The Brake. Ninja 400 - Great bike, solid platform. Been out since 2018 and needs a new model to compete with the KTM RC 390 or CFmoto SS450. Road the SS450 at Daytona bike week demo event right after the Ninja - big differences. CFmoto ss450 has a 270 crank, brembo brakes, digital dash, 50hp, better suspension and super smooth tranny. Riding position is slightly less aggressive than the KTM RC 390 - so you can ride for hours.

I have a ninja 400 in the UK (damp, tiny roads) and a R7 in the USA. When I am in the USA I really miss the little ninja... It punches way above its weight...so much that I would not call it a beginner bike. I have a CFMOTO 300 SR as a London commuter and for my gf and that is a beginner bike. I am a 5ft 9 inch 48 year old and have done some light touring on the ninja 400 without discomfort... But I would not recommend the bike for anyone much over 5ft 11. The ninja 650 is heavy and boring and I don't recommend it.. R7 feels a lot lighter and is more engaging as an intermediate upgrade.

You'll have a great time on the highway. It's perfectly capable of running 80MPH without bogging down up a regular incline on any interstate. @Omni_Moto
@Omni_Moto 8 месяцев назад
Hey there! I don't think you should let your physical limitations inhibit your decision on a motorcycle. The best way to know for sure is to get into a showroom and get a leg thrown over it. There are lowering links available for the Ninja 400 that can help tremendously with those who don't have tall inseam heights - like this one! imp.i104546.net/LXyEzO Don't get too hung up on being able to get both feet on the ground either - In the real world you'll likely be coming to a stop and putting one foot down on the ground when waiting at stop lights or stop signs. That said, make sure you take some precautions and look into getting your motorcycle endorsement by taking a motorcycle safety course to ensure best practices so you have the best chance at having a great experience! Ride safe. 😀

Hey Omni! I'm looking at getting my first bike, and while I stand at a towering 6'3 at age 18, I wanted to know if the Ninja was a smart choice. I'm also moving to Scotland and heard that it rains a lot there so am a little worried about buying a bike over there. what would you suggest I do?
@Omni_Moto
@Omni_Moto Год назад
I believe all motorcycles sold in Europe have ABS, but I could be wrong about that. In any case, if you’re worried about wet roads, I’d say do some research about what tires will be best for using on those surfaces, and get a motorcycle with ABS. 6’3 is a bit tall for the Ninja 400, but it can be done. I would even recommend moving up to the Ninja 650 since it is more accommodating for your size. It’s a small bump in power, but it’s a beginner friendly bike that would fill the same role very well - 2023 models even come with traction control, which would benefit you on the rainy days as well. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and ride safe. 😎👍

@Omni_Moto
@Omni_Moto Год назад
Since this will be your 1st bike ever, I’d recommend the CBR300R. If you wanted a little bit more capability and feel confident in your ability as a beginner, the Ninja 400 is the better choice, but will come at a premium. The CBR500R is a bit much for a first timer IMO, but again it depends on your confidence level. The 500 will last you the longest before you want to upgrade for more power. See you around!

okay im looking into getting one of these, but idk if its the right fit. ill be a beginner rider of sport bikes. I'm coming from almost 10 years of riding cruisers. that includes a Indian scout, Springfield, victory hammer S, and my most recent bike an Indian challenger. if I'm use to larger bikes like them and my challenger putting out 122 HP, should i just go with the 600 or larger,, or should i stick with the 400 being my first sport bike.
@Omni_Moto
@Omni_Moto Год назад
If you’ve ridden big bikes like the challenger, the Ninja 400 will be a uniquely new experience for you. I’d almost recommend going with a Z900 though. It’s going to deliver on the performance factor you might be after, especially coming from a Challenger. If you want reasonable power that is incredibly useful though, the Ninja 400 is great, and even the Ninja 650 would excel in that role.

I didn’t test top speed, but based on what I’ve read it’s about 115mph, or about 160 kmph. In theory, you should be able to swap fairings since it’s the same frame, but you’ll need to swap the gauge cluster as well and make sure the fairings don’t interfere with the bars. No guarantees it will work. At that point, you should just purchase a Ninja instead of a Z.

I recently got this bike last week. I have a huge problem with it, every time I ride the motorcycle it goes way up high in temp that I had to stop and shut it off to cool down. Any suggestions why it does that? I mean is brand new from dealer. Same bike same color.
@Omni_Moto
@Omni_Moto Год назад
It sounds like it could be 3 possible root causes. You need to contact your dealer who you purchased from and have them take a look. All cooling system components should be covered under warranty, but you may have to pay them for their labor hours, unless Kawasaki warranties the labor. I’d like to emphasize that the causes below are purely speculative, I do not speak for every Kawasaki dealership, and I am not a service technician. Being around the industry for a bit though, I’ve got a few educated guesses. 1.) You may not have a sufficient amount of coolant in your system. This could be caused by a leak, or the bike may have not been properly tipped off when it was set up by your dealer. 2.) Your thermostat may not be functioning properly. This could lead to an insufficient amount of coolant being fed through the cooling system when operating temperatures reach the levels for the thermostat to open. 3.) Your cooling fan for the radiator may not be functioning correctly. This can be caused from a unhooked wiring harness, or just a fan with a bad motor. The above items should all be covered under warranty as long as you bought the bike new. I hope this helps steer you in the right direction. I would advise you stop riding the bike until you call your dealer and get a solution. Ride safe. 👍

I picked up a used 2013 ninja 300 in 2019. Still own it. It has some after market parts that hint at it being dropped and burnouts. I’ve put almost 20k miles on it myself without any issue. I’ve dropped it myself and had debris off trailers blow out my fairings. The bike just keeps on going. I wouldn’t worry about the reliability of ninjas too much unless there’s a blatant major issue.

Most likely, USA has different colors (colours?) from the rest of the world usually on a lot of models. I'm a pretty short person ngl, I'm about 5'2 and I'm looking for 300-600cc sports bikes. I absolutely love this model but I highly doubt I can flat foot this, I'd like something that I can (mostly) flat foot on and I don't want a cruiser, please help a brother out lmao

Hey there! I think I can provide you with some insight to help you achieve your dream. The best thing I can recommend at this point is to find the lowest seat height possible - I believe for the beginner class it is the Yamaha R3. It has a P-Twin engine as well with a little less power than the Ninja 400, but ultimately fills the same role as a beginner-friendly motorcycle. If you are really jonesing for the Ninja 400 though, you can lower the seat height by purchasing a lowering link. A quick search turned up a few results. Here's one for less than $100 www.t-rex-racing.com/2018-2023-Kawasaki-Ninja-400-Z400-Lowering-Lin-p/ll50-18.htm. I recommend having a professional install this to ensure precision and safety. Lastly, I want to mention that flat-footing a motorcycle isn't a crucial piece of the puzzle. If you can get at least one of your feet firmly on the ground, you can hold these lightweight sport-bikes up with no problem. Here is a link to a video from @LanaOnWheels who does an excellent explanation/demonstration about how shorter riders can safely operate a motorcycle without getting their feet on the ground. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-etqqzJ06R90.html Stopping is the most difficult part, especially on hills, but if you know how to use your brakes to your advantage, you can really master full stops on any incline. Check out some tutorials from other instructors as well (Jerry Palladino, Be the Boss of Your Motorcycle, MotoJitsu, etc.) to get a better idea of techniques to practice so you are mentally prepared to take on the training process. I hope this helps you out and you are able to get on a sport-bike you will love. Best of luck and ride safe. 😎

I like the 400 but i can't stand the look of the windshield and the mirrors because it looks too scooter like for me, and I never liked the paint scheme that came on the ninja 400s. i'm waiting for the 450ss to drop so i can see it in details. as far as i am concerned, i kinda prefer the 450ss to the ninja anyways

400 or 650 for a beginner that’s 6’2? Texan so lots of highway travel commute so that’s another issue.
@Omni_Moto
@Omni_Moto 6 месяцев назад
650 my friend. You'll like the larger frame for your size as well as the top-end power for highway commuting. It's a bit more expensive, but it's worth it for your scenario. Thanks for watching! Ride safe.

Quick question for anyone: How is the speed and acceleration on a ninja 400 for a bigger person? I weight 205lbs and most content ive sen on the 400 they weight 140lbs -_-
@brandonjefferson257
@brandonjefferson257 Год назад
I'm also 200 lbs and have this exact same bike. I can tell you that the little bike still does great and that's with me wearing full gear. I have no acceleration or speed issues. It tops out at 116. Maybe with a lighter rider it will do 120, who knows.

I have to agree with you on this being a beginner bike. It all depends on the person's budget, and purpose. Not necessarily the displacement or horsepower. Yes, the Ninja 400 would be great for commuting, but so would the Z125 for city use. But for long-distance touring, the 650 would be better for someone who can actually afford it. Affordability is why there are so many cars on the road, and so few motorcycles. This is not a cheap hobby!!!
@drewoke5046
@drewoke5046 Год назад
That makes no sense . Buying a used motorcyle is way cheaper than a used car . So the reason it’s more cars on the road has nothing to do with affordability. It’s mores cars because there are way more cars made than motorcycles.

I'm getting my first bike soon... and part of my reasoning is because they are so relatively cheap... I can have a stable of bikes, where as I can't have a stable of trucks and cars... Bike will be my commuter, and truck will be for utility and when the weather sucks.

@@Omni_Moto How would you compare the Ninja 400 to the new Eliminator? Looking for a first bike and want something with decent power but still good for a beginner and I’m kinda torn between the two styles. You seem to be one of the few people who have riden the 451cc eliminator so I would really appreciate your opinion. Thanks!
@Omni_Moto
@Omni_Moto 10 месяцев назад
@@kylerock4227 The Eliminator is probably better for true beginners because of its lower seat height, but the Ninja is a more sport ride due to the geometry and seating position it puts you in. If you value comfort, go for the Eliminator. If you value performance and agility, go for the Ninja. Hope this helps. Best of luck and ride safe. 😎
