They say the 3.8l basket fits 900g of fries. Is that reasonable? You have the dual one, where one basket is about the volume of this one, would you say that's an accurate amount of food? Because honestly it looks way too small for it, but maybe that's just my perception? I can't imagine that would be enough space to lay down a 900g package of chips in a single layer. I'm wondering about it since I'm trying to figure out what air fryer to buy for a 1-2 person household. My friend has a small one (definitely less than 4l) and we made those viral pasta crisps in hers when they were trending and we had to make multiple batches to finish the recipe. If I make crisps for 1-2 persons or air fry dumplings for the same amount of people, would a 4l basket be enough? I'm also thinking about the dual zone airfryer because of being able to make stuff that require different times and temperatures, but it is quite an expensive purchase, so I do wonder if it's necessary. I was thinking that I might want to invest in the dual zone airfryer because then I could make an entire meal (two different things with different cooking instructions) for 1-2 people in one go, but if it's unnecessary unless you have a family then that would be good to know.

Personally I like crispy fries and 900g is quite a lot for one basket. I shake them as I go so don’t need to have just one layer like in an oven. I would highly recommend a dual. There are 5 of us in our house and I use a dual and flex drawer (basically another dual size). Hope this helps. Also you’ve made me want to make pasta crisps now 😀

@@fulloffood yeah, I've been thinking about it more and I honestly lean toward the dual one now, especially because I often would make stuff that requires different cooking times or even temperatures and I could always just use only the one side if I make smaller portions. Definitely make some pasta crisps, but season them well with some paprika or italian herb mix or something similar and I recommend pasta with the same thickness all around like rigatoni. We made them with farfalle like we saw in the video, but the middle takes longer then the outside and that might leave you with burned edges.
