@ninjakitchenuk An honest review of the Ninja Food Max AF400UK Please stick with the review until the end. I unbox the item, cook a couple of meals, show how easy it is to clean & give a summary of my opinion on the air fryer.
Thank you Andy - I found that helpful. The same model as yours is being delivered tomorrow - exciting! There’s only 2 of us and I wasn’t sure which size model to order but went for the larger one as it gives more flexibility when cooking for the family. Hope you continue to be pleased with your air fryer.
I’m glad you found the video useful and thank you for your kind comment. I still love ours and use it nearly every day. Have a great day and enjoy your new ninja! 😊
@@aussiegirl654 thank you very much for the kind comment, I hope you enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours. A little tip, if you want a little less cleaning you can get some paper type liners cheaply so that it lines the bottom of each tray and catches any fat. You’ll have to let me know if you enjoy it once you’ve got it. 😊 hope you have a great day.
@@MissM_PsychCrime thank you for the kind words, I’m glad that you found the review helpful and hope that you enjoy using yours if you get one as much as I enjoy mine. Have an amazing day.😊
Very good video. My wife and I have been thinking about getting one of these. We already have an air fryer, but it only has one basket and we often find ourselves wanting to cook a protein and a veg at the same time. Also, kudos to your wife on the filming. You were showing how the machine syncs and just as it was about to start the second basket, you mentioned the fan above. She panned up to show the fan, but remembered to move it back down to show the 2nd basket starting up. She's a smart one, I would have done much more poorly. Lastly, don't worry about your ticks my friend. It's your meat, touch it as much as you want! We all have our little quirks, and I found you very engaging and thought you did a fantastic job. Well done to the both of you!
Thank you so much for the very kind words! You really have made my day. Thank you. I would say that if you do get on, I doubt very much that you’ll regret it, I use it nearly every day. I hope you have a great day and thank you once again. 😊
So did you buy one? I love mine! I remove the internal grill and cook directly on the bottom. I bought it for cooking Roast beef, steak, and eggs for my carnivore diet. I buy 2" thick roasts and then slice 3/4" slices with the grain. --> 3/4"x2"x6" slices. Add a tablespoon of butter, season enough to fill the bottom of the tray, set on roast(@450F), cook 9 minutes, flip, cook 6 more and you have delicious roast thats almost as good as ribeye steak.--> for less than half the price. 😋
@@The_Fat_Bald_Trucker yes we did and it’s great. The non stick coating on the grill plates is really good, makes cleanup very easy. We use this almost every day. Chicken breasts, Brussels sprouts, so many different things. And the ability to cook two things separately is really nice too. Very pleased with it.
thank you for the review Andy, very detailed and you pointed out some useful points others haven't (like the temperature of the outside, v good to know!)
Great video and nice tasty looking meal. No need to mention about the ticks or any medical condition. I did'nt even notice anything when i was watching it! Was a good review on how to cook with this model airfryer. Good job :)
Thorough review. I look forward to seeing more reviews using the other programs. A word to the wise - don’t shake the baskets in and out of the device as you’ll mark the bases. It’s better to take the basket out if you have to agitate them.
Thank you so much for your kind comments, I really do appreciate it. I’m glad that you seem to have found my review useful and I hope if you end up getting one that you enjoy as much as I do. Have a really good day and thank you once again. 😊
Hi Andy, your presentation was really excellent - well done! I learnt a lot from you and appreciate you taking the time to share with other people. Best wishes, Joan.
@@joanjohnstone7241 hi there Joan, thank you so much for the kind comment. It is very much appreciated and I’m glad that you managed to learn something from me. Hope you have a wonderful day. 😊
No problem, I’m glad you’re enjoying it. We have had ours for quite awhile now and we literally do not use the oven at all. We occasionally use the rings on top of the oven and very seldom use the microwave and it has saved as so much money. It is unbelievable. I use the Utrack app and it is quite clear on there the reduction in the amount of electricity we have used since we purchased it. Hopefully you find it as enjoyable as we do. Hope you have a great day 😊
Thank you for the Review. I have been using mine for only 3 days but so in love with it. I previously had a cheapie one, and I mean cheap £35. It was a great starter really to see if I really want a good one. Yes I definitely did, I quickly outgrew the basic cheapie. #love my Ninja x
Nice review Andy, my Ninja AF400UK just arrived, can’t wait to unpack and start experimenting. Got yourself a new subscriber and good luck with your YT channel 👍
I've never heard so much huffing & puffing on opening a box in a review before lol. I have just bought one & i was worried about having it sat in front of the plug sockets but it seems to be ok as yours was too. All the best luck for the future doing your reviews. I have subscribed btw cos i know they all count. Thanks 👍🙂👍
Cheers. The huffing and puffing is due to the fact I have Tourette’s. It took about 5ish hours to whittle the video down to what you see here. Also thank you so very much for the subscribe. Hope you have a great day 😊
Thanks for your video, because of that, I have enough information to make my decission, have a nice day and keep up the good work. I wish you all the best reviewing your new products.
Hi, your review was very helpful, used my new Ninja air fryer for the first time yesterday, I’m not one for reading instructions too thoroughly so this was great to watch, will look forward to your next video. Thanks 12.15pm 😊
I've just bought this machine but am having great trouble removing the probe from it's 'box' in the side wall of the machine. I've pinched the sides which I assumed would release the probe to remove it but to no avail. Btw your video was very good and helpful. You explained stuff really well. Thank you.
Got mine, trying it out today after rinsing it out first, best video i have seen about it, i love your kitchen proper used and nice with lots of cooking, thank you.
Nice and well explained video. I just bought a Ninja Copper/Black AF400UKC on Amazon special offer today. Your video will help me get started in the kitchen 👨🍳. Thanks 👍
Thank you for the kind comment, I’m glad you found the review useful. I have had it awhile now and it is definitely worth every single penny. Our electricity usage has gone down, the food is cooked nicely, and the amount of fat that sits in the bottom from cooking in this is amazing. Instead of you eating the fat that is in the food, you just wash it out of the trays when you’re done. Have a great Christmas!
I like your video - it's very real and I like you both making this video and very clear the way you given me information - what does this product can do, you both done a fantastic JOB... Merry Christmas to you guys.🎄🎄🎄and God bless you and your family.🎄🎄🎄
Thank you very much for the kind words, it’s very much appreciated and I’m glad that you found the video useful. Merry Christmas to you and your family and I hope you have a wonderful New Year! 😊
Great video Andy. I have just bought the same model of Ninja Airfryer and found this video very helpful 😊. I have just subscribed and look forward to further videos.
Thank you so much for the subscription, it really means a lot. I’m really glad that this video helped you out. I’m sure you will love it as much as me and Sam. Hope you have a really good day 😊
I hope by now you have invested in a temperature probe which I use all the time with my AF400EU out here in Spain (same specs) Just open the drawer and stick the probe in as you're cooking (saves things overdoing) 😊
Hiya, I cooked them on air fry at 200°C for 4.5 minutes after brushing one side with oil, then turned them over and brushed with a little more oil, added salt & pepper & cooked for a further 4.5 minutes. The internal temp was 62°c when done. Hope this helps 😊
I’m out at the moment, however, if you send me either your email address or WhatsApp then I will send you a short video which will maybe be easier to describe for you
I really love my Ninja Food Max AF400UK, but you really have to keep on top with the cleaning, but it really is a great piece of kit, just be careful when taking food out of the basket by hand as it really is red hot.
I figured this out to my cost 😳. I agree the cleaning is a must every 1-2 times cooking however it is just part of the routine now. Thank you for your kind words 😊
Just get into the habit of filling it with some hot soapy water every time you use it for messy stuff and leave it to soak. Do that and you never have worry about stuff getting baked on. Chips, garlic bread, pies, sausages rolls etc and you'll get away with a quick rinse. Simple.
From the still image/thumbnail it looks like an Audiophile Hi-End power amplifier, from Krell, Moon or Mark Levinson etc! (Which do get warm but would hardly make yer chips cooked enough to eat).
It’s not so much what you cook, the know how to use the dials, are most important, mine came via a computer of 40 pages in which I have not bothered with, so my grand daughter has been showing me.. it’s a bit complicated, so now I’m giving her that one and I’m going now for the ninja
I do have to say, the ninja is very easy to use. Thank you very much for the kind comments and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Hope you’ve had a great Christmas and hope you have a great New Year. 😊
Thank you for sharing! It’s good to see a proper review. I’ve just purchased one! Can I ask where you got you pan from that you’re cooking your eggs in?
Of course, I got it from the Tefal shop online. It was part of a set called Ingenio and was a Black Friday deal. The handles swap between frying, sauté and saucepans so you can use the pans on the hob, in the oven or put them in the fridge too. Thank you for the encouraging words & I will try doing more videos.
Great review. We use our Ninja daily and really don't use the oven much anymore apart from a pizza once in a while. Really would like to see you do a review of those Tefal pans you are using. Wondering if it is worth the upgrade. Thank you
I will do a review of the pans tomorrow and try and edit it to be released tomorrow night, please bear in mind I try and edit out my tics so it may take me a few hours. Thank you for the great feedback 😊
I’ve got those stacking pans, as we down sized, as we have got older, and I’ve found them great, the only down side has been the cheap induction hob, the previous people installed, it only has one small ring that works, with the small and medium size, the large size pan is not large enough to use on the larger area of the induction hob, which was a pain until I got my Nija speedi, when I haven’t needed to use the hob, it’s definitely the hob that’s at fault, but as it’s new I was reluctant to replace it after I got my speed. I used the pans on my Bosch hob at my other house and they worked there. I am now considering getting this dual Airfryer as that’s all I tend to use in the kitchen, veg in the microwave or roast veg in the Speedi, with a trivet to do the meat on, but the speedi that I bought so we could do paste dishes, I’ve not used as much as I thought I would, where as the Airfryer side I’ve used more, and juggling the airfryer with levels is do able but fiddly.
Hi. I believe the model numbers refer to to the differing sizes, ie, capacity/cooking space & also where it is being sold be it England, America, Australia etc.
On the contrary, the steak was fresh from the butcher and chips were for convenience for the video. You can cook fresh healthy meals. Also the gammon was fresh. Did you watch the video or comment based on the assumption that I cooked “crap frozen food”?
@@davidbanks1851 I personally wouldn’t defrost food because it generally cooked food straight away. I would recommend using a microwave for defrosting.
Hi, the material the baskets are made of seems to be the same as the inside of an oven. I don’t know if it’s Teflon free. I’d suggest sending Ninja a message as it doesn’t say on their website.
Great review thanks Andy. I have the same air fryer but haven’t had the chance to use it yet. Your review /description was very helpful. Keep her lit buddy. JP.
