At this point Ninja Creamy should sponsor these videos. Your recipes are very diabetic friendly. I personally am not a big fan of butterscotch but my wife and father in law love it. This one should be easy. But I think I will have to cave and get the proper machine. Making it in my little blender is tricky.
@JamesSarin Thanks! Yeah, I haven't tried it in a blender, but I imagine it's hard to do. I was just at Walmart and saw a Ninja Creami for only $149. I think it's one model down from the one I have which is $199, but it should work the same way. 😁
Why do you make such small batches? Are you making a single serving the size that you prefer? I have an 11 in 1 Creami and I make the full 3 cups. It's good for two good size servings. Probably need two egg yolks? Love butterscotch
@matthewbeck6945 Thanks! Yes, I'm making single servings. I usually prefer to eat it all at once, and usually a full batch is more than I want to eat at once. One egg yolk should be fine for a full container, that's what other recipes I've seen have done, and it's worked well when I've made a full pint before. Feel free to try adding more milk, sweetener and butterscotch pudding mix to increase the volume. I'd love to hear how it turns out!
If your favorite ice cream recipes use uncooked eggs, it's time replace or revise them. Those raw eggs may contain salmonella bacteria that can cause foodborne illness. Freezing doesn't kill bacteria but cooking does.
