Having/Watching Ryu go f*cking berserk once you obtain the True Dragon Sword is a blast. Sure the enemies in the level are VERY dangerous and powerful but it is a blast to play and slay everything foolish enough to cross your path. Even on the higher difficulties like Path of the Mentor and Path of the Master Ninja which is a nightmare.
Did you play Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge? IMO they basically fixed all the problems with the vanilla version (except the story, but you could say the same for all the games). Razor's Edge had some pretty insane challenges too, to account for steel-on-bone being strong once you master it.
TrollANIMU No I've played the 3 and I felt it very short I mean only 8 missions, poor AI and no weapons? you only have the dragon sword? Are you kidding me team ninja? The game is good but I felt a little dissapointed because it could be better. PD: I will try to play Razor Edge someday.
Razor's Edge is the proper version, they snapped out of whatever stupor they were in when they first made 3 and basically finished the game, added the weapons and characters and challenges.
@@TrollANIMU Razor's Edge did improved game alot, but it was still mediocre compared to 1&2..... No healing and ninpo items, ninpo must be filled in battle so you were not able to use it more than once, many enemies were cheap and frustrating to fight, bosses took too long to die and their attacks did big damage...Anyway good graphics and gameplay, you could do insane long combos, and fighting ninjas were great... Although I finished the game, I found it a bit broken and cheap-hard(no healing items!!!)...
this is the music that plays when you gotta find the eye with Ayane right? I swear i only played the game just to play with ayane :P and ended up beating it for her outfit (warrior difficulty) the 3rd level team missions are impossible to beat >_
The focking fire archfiend in de the last cave was annoying. He only uses auto-aim fireballs and i keep falling in the lava...and with those crappy auto camera i couldn't keep track of him...
