They recently announced that they’re putting out a Trilogy version for PS4 and Switch lol. Hopefully it sells well so they can fund a NG4 on the new generation!

@@Ro-fw3lc it’s not that bad, i honestly think mentor is worst because every fighting segment has a different wave of enemies meaning you constantly have to adjust. MN is just IS ninjas

Sigma 2 removes almost all the incendiary kunai spam and lowers the enemy count, while raising their health. This makes the game much less chaotic. I'd still choose the original, but sigma 2 did have some decent changes.

@@NidokingOtsutsuki Ninja Gaiden games all feel like that to me, little sense of satisfaction, skill-honing, and more about masochism, artificial difficulty, that's why I am so glad they made Nioh, which is better than NG in almost every way

The slowdowns are because is not well optimized.

It runs perfectly on the new xbox series x and in 4k I've got them both. 60fps no drops at all..100%

@@darkestknightishere Well yeah, because Nioh is more tactical combat and lore focused; while Ninja Gaiden you play as a super bad*ss ninja that kills almost everything in style.

I do believe it was dlc. Don't quite remember since it's been years since I've played this.

I mean the game literally plays you as the ultimate ninja himself, what would you expect? treat you like a baby and taking good care of you like the other action game where the enemies are practice dummy whilst the attack interval takes too long and wondering around like they are not there to kill you? The enemy in this games are ninja/assasin/demons and you expect to caress you like a child? They're there to kill you if you didn't know and not for some fancy design npc or whatever. Just go back to your childsplay game. Why would you even search up the vanilla version of 2 in youtube.

Go to install now in the game menu settings on home game select page you have to click to install they don't do it automatically

@@Shinobi8893 yes, a high level of reading comprehension. Ninja Gaiden 2 was a huge disappointment compared to Ninja Gaiden. It was “ok”. It wasn’t great. Understand?

You really are that kind of game journalist where you expect game sequels are the same and no uniqueness to it's mechanics at all, and then when the sequel is released and it's very different to it's predeccesor, you'd talking trash on it like it was not a good changes nor adding more combat mechanics. Ng3 is a different story. Ng3 is the real "not good" in the series (yaiba is not a ninja gaiden, more like a trash spinoff). That game was a try hard focusing in story even tho it's not great at all, and the cinematics are just adding stretch because it only had 8 missions. You can have your opinion on ninja gaiden ii, but you're that 10% of the fanbase, majority of ninja gaiden fans like ii, even more than black. So shove it up because you really are just another wannabe player.

@@Shinobi8893 I was ranked in the top 100 below Shinobier on Ninja Gaiden. Ran the original Hurricane packs. Scores and community will easily tell you which is a masterpiece and which is a disappointment.

@@dceasedbrickfan74 black is masterpiece 100% true, but to call ngii a "not great" sequel bc it's not your preference like how the game had many changes of combat and adding annoying enemies, I mean, itagaki intended the design of ii as the nes version where the enemies are everywhere and mildly cheap. Still a great game for it's own. I get that you like black more, it's more slower and less intense, but for me, ii is a good sequel bc of how many mechanics added into it like ot and new ninpos and weapons like talons and kasuri-gama, feels like you're an unstoppable force when you play it. Well I misjudged you as a "wannabe ng player", sorry for that. It's great to be top 100 in ninja gaiden. In the end of the day, it's night.
