Part 1 of a walkthrough Let's Play supercut of Ninja Gaiden 3 and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, aiming to point out the differences and removed content from Ninja Gaiden 3 in the repackaged version of NG3: Razor's edge
The removal of that cutscene of the begging soldier makes all sense, makes hayabusa look like a villain and is also disconnected from the character of hayabusa, he would never do that.
@@brenohenrique9743 you're not 'saying' - you're *TYPING... plus 'seeming' is essentially what 'looking like it' is you smartie... also quit arguing semantics and actually add on to my comment.
@@godzillazfriction i don't think you get it, i'm not saying he's seem that way by the game, i'm just saying it made it look like that for me, stop being such an asshole over such a little thing like that and go piss someone else off.
The scene of the begging soldier is so tryhard and dumb. Like, why does ryu takes his time to approach him? Why doesn't he just throw him a knife, or run towards him and use the sword to kill him instantly before he can do anything?. I am not saying Ruy should have left a soldier escape run free, but he could have done other things like make sure he isn't armed, interrogate him, or inmobilize him so he can be arrested. They wanted ryu to be like a slasher monster to push the stupid "ryu is bad bevause he kills a lot of people blablabla" plot, but it fails so hard.
those are the 'things' that could've saved it's writing... and you want to (baselessly) 'criticise' the game for having the issue that you definitely didn't rehears from someone else who also rehearsed it all together as of one because it somehow has 'bad' and contrived writing...
well ryu fights for justice, I dont see whats wrong with ryu hearing him out. the guy is already dead, for sure because he signed up to be with the terrorists and hurt innocent people but I dont understand why its wrong for ryu to at least listen to the guys last words.
the problem is the game framed scenes like that as a moral dilemma to the player, when in reality the guy should be killed because its the just thing to do, and from Ryu's perspective he HAS to die and there is no moral dilemma because Ryu is a ninja and accepts his role as an assassin for peace and slayer of the wicked.
so interesting that the week i got to game school, and the day i bring god hand to school, mike uploads and graces my front page with his presence. the stars are alligned
I remember renting out the original NG3 from Blockbuster over a decade ago and not realising how terrible it truly was. Thank God I could return it, also I'm looking forward to more analysis on this truly bizare title.
'more analysis' as in more circle-[insert]ing off the garnered perception that almost seeming the Public Opinion spews out... you're acting like the vanilla offed your family or something, but you only discredit it because of what the perception is around the original Ninja Gaiden 3...
I love ninja gaiden games, but NG3 it's incomplete, I only realized this when I saw that to get the platinum, I need paid dlcs 🤡 but that's not the subject of the video, I think it's really cool what was put in Razor's edge, more characters, improved graphics, weapons that were in the other games, I'm really happy that this version was made LoL
Which version? The DLCs are included with them. Just clan battles etc. I'm trying to go for the plat on PS3 version, unfortunately I can't find anyone for co-op trophies.
I was hoping someone would make a video like this once NG3RE was out on PC. The original NG3 was my first Ninja Gaiden game, and after going back and playing the first two games later on, I always looked back on NG3 as a very bizarre experience. I've replayed Sigma, Sigma 2, and Razor's Edge multiple times, but I'm in no rush to try and replay vanilla 3, for the exact reasons shown in this video.
Having replayed both of these earlier this year, it’s shocking just how much RE changed compared to vanilla 3. It’s definitely a big step up outside a few areas like the final boss being worse. It’s easily the worst of the 3, but at least they were able to still bring out some good parts in Razor’s Edge. Also really interesting to see how the enemy behavior was altered. I knew they attacked more and did more damage, but I didn’t realize stuff like the gun enemies not actually shooting Ryu in 3 and just aiming into the air for some reason. Definitely interesting to see this deeper look, there’s a lot more detail you covers here than I expected.
I never played the original 3, just Razor's Edge. I think it's.. fine? It can be pretty fun in small bursts. But it does get a bit repetitive for me in a way the previous 2 didn't. 1 felt very tactical at times like every move I made was important, and 2 was just so insane I either felt like an unstoppable killing machine cutting through enemies like a hot knife through butter or barely scraping through an encounter by the skin of my teeth, and very few instances ever feeling like it was in between those two. 3 felt like "whoa, this is pretty fast and crazy, but why does it feel like I'm fighting the same boring humans over and over and over and over again? And why are they trying so hard to make me think Ryu's a bad guy for killing people working with monsters trying to destroy the world?"
'working with monsters' more and more of the good ol' perception regarding a subset of an 'idea' that forms into setting a set of standards that gets objectified in (perceived) truth of what a Human being is supposed to be as and what it should be...
I'm glad to have the chance to played Master Collection beat all three Ninja Gaiden. I personally like NG3RE 'cause of the improvement on the replayability, more characters to play and I love to fight mecha bosses
The combat AI in NG3 feel way better and close to NG1 + NG2 That first spider tank in Edge literally impossible to beat without dying like 10 times even to someone who already beated both NG1 and NG2, hilarious changes if not call it dumb
I want to mention is that I don't like this call of duty type of chapter loading screen in NG3 because it takes away the theme and presentation of what ninja gaiden is. In NG Black and NG2 the chapter loading screen was very simple and japanese type with the pink flower on it and it has this biography before you start the game.
I am newbie in this series so plz tell me that is the razor's edge the dlc of NG3? & if is not then which should i play first ng3 or ng3re?? plz reply someone 😢😢
man ive been wanting to do a video like this long ago but teh catch was.... i had to replay NG3. FUCK NO lol. thank for taking teh bullet for us and detailing all the changes. One important note that should be explained is the combat feels clunky in NG3 compared to RE. not to mention alot of enemys were spammy with grab attacks. in RE the cheese was reduced but still there but at least your more nimble.
