Fascinating! I've done a similar thing for essence on Ninja Gaiden. To my behold, I wasn't able to replicate the same feat on Ninja Gaiden Black. Thanks for showcasing this.
@@Reds_ Did it! Added weapons and items on xemu, saved, decrypted, encrypted and signed to console, and it loads up! Gonna have to pick your brain how you modded HP and Ninpo values-I grabbed a few different byte arrays I thought was relevant and the game kept resetting.
@@GuiltyGaming That's great to hear! Also, I never tried editing HP and Ninpo. I used the lives of thousand gods and spirits of the devils I edited in. I did try it with essence and it worked, so the same should apply with karma and scarabs.
@@GuiltyGaming How do you do it? I wanna add and edit consumable items and karma but haven't managed to do it yet. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do once I get in the memory view.
I am so confused. So I pick up the elixir on the dead body at the beginning and type in the array of byte in the scanning section and then what? I pick up the one on the cliff and nothing changes
I just read the post of the page of the link u put. In effect is for the master collection that needs the save that generate the game in the documents folder. So this doesnt work for NGB clarify this
Could u please explain how to use the editor? Because in 1rst place the link you put is for sigma not for black. And how can edit if generaly the mods for page of nexus needs another file that run the game itself....so how?
This requires Cheat Engine. The link I put in the description is a download for a .txt document with all the hex values for every single weapon and item. The hex values are all the same for every version of this game (minus the Sigma content for OG release & NGB. Meaning Dual Swords, Earrings, and every other new item added with Sigma won't work with the OG release and Black)
@@Reds_ how do i add this with CE in NGB for Xemu and not supouse these codes are for sigma? I check the coments and it saids that needs HxD program, i tryed the instructions that put right there in the comments (in nexusmods) but again, not have FF thing because im have to running it in Xemu
Will this work on regular version on NG 3 with a online account! But to use it on story mode or trails . How much you charge and what do you need from me
NG 3? As in Ninja Gaiden 3? (2012) I've never worked on that game with Cheat Engine so I wouldn't know. You'll have to ask GuiltyGaming, he has a modding community for all the games. I'm sure I saw some videos on hex editing for Ninja Gaiden 3. www.youtube.com/@GuiltyGaming
Does anybody have an idea of what items have to be grabbed in order to progress? I ask in order to not add those through CE. I know that you need to grab the Counter Attack scroll in Chapter 2. But are there any other items like this?
Counter Attacks is 00 D0 00 01 so go in the memory view at where the inventory bytes are at, look for and add those bytes (xx D0 xx 01) to your list, and change those two bytes to 00 and keep it active in the list when loading in.
@@yeisonstivenmejiasuarez8985 I have a link in the description for the hex codes, but you need a Nexusmods account to download it. temp mail websites should work fine if you don't have one.
@@yeisonstivenmejiasuarez8985 It's a bit weird with how this array of byte modifying works, I know. But I never tried removing items from the inventory, only scrolls. Take those 4 bytes for the life of thousand gods (00 0A 01 xx) xx being quantity, add them to your table, quit to the main menu and the 4 bytes will default at 00. Then check it as active and load into your game. If you want to change just the quantity, take the 4th byte (xx) and add it to your list as hexadecimal 1 byte and change it to what you want and make it active. Let me know if this works.
@@yeisonstivenmejiasuarez1170 sorry for the late reply, I just saw your comment and was never notified. I've had the game and emulator deleted months ago. You're saying it's only specific items you can't remove? I've only tried removing weapons. Lives of Thousand Gods is 00 0A 01 01 with the last byte being quantity. If you want to remove the item fully, highlight those 4 bytes in the memory view, right click and add it to the address list as array of byte with the length of 4. Quit to the main menu and change it to 00 00 00 00 and check it as active, load your save and check the inventory to see if it worked. Don't forget to uncheck the address as active when in the game.
