Its amazing how little there is for speedrunning tech in this game. I can't tell if its because of how solidly made it is or its linearity that lends itself to not having any crazy exploitable glitches. Great run as always Jay!

2 is great, 3 is good. Sigma 2 takes the blood out😞..adds more boss encounters and playable characters..Razors Edge offers only additional characters..but I enjoy the environment best in Black, they should remake Black and put executions in them like 2 and 3. Everytime I play these though I have to use the Dragon Sword all the time,,it's what defines Ryu. Amazing,,I died as I many times. Never actually beat Black myself though😞,,I say it's the hardest one...good job
Great run, love those yolo UF kills and the fiendsealing of the clones. Love seeing advanced combat strats that you simply don't see in normal difficulty runs. That's not an editing trick on the final boss strat, it's a nice use of the game feature. Where if you die on Fiend Murai, then the game will automatically put you at his fight when you reach the Dark Dragon Blade the next time you restart the game. It's debatable if that's a valid strat though since it requires extra gameplay beforehand to set it up. Working off my memory from a couple of years ago, you need to start the playthrough from the save statue then reach Murai, fight and die on him, choose Yes to continue from the last save. And then the game will teleport you to Fiend Murai from touching the DDB. So in this case jtb is actually omitting gameplay that required that teleport feature to function but this works within the confines of the IGT (ingame time) system that the game uses. I do have some nitpicks with the run though: - No Muramasa cutscene skip in chapter 2 - No Ninpo Duping Glitch *big one* - No Ninpo manipulation for Brain bugs in Ritual Room - No Worm boss skip - No Emperor Skull glitch kill Ninpo duping is an incredible time save at the cost of a few small potions. Yes it takes some initial time to upgrade for it but in the end it cuts down on menu usage time and item management. There are so many fights where simply ninpo spamming is the fastest way. As polished and bug-free NGB is in comparison to broken ass NG2, the game does have a boss skip in it. The Skull glitch kill now that it's shown to be repeatable, though still a low chance, is simply a no brainer for a segmented run, you've done all that grinding to the end then you might as well go for the stupid fast glitch kill that literally deletes a boss.

And that last hit that didn't connect... God damn wasps piss me off! 42:20 Gleaming F***ing Blade lol. 51:29 why not grab the arrows before ending the level instead of going back after? 1:09:44 really? you're not dead? Unless this kind of health gives the UF 1000% damage. Forgive me for skipping from 1:14:00 to 1:20:30 You're a legend!
@JayTB123 I have a question I can't find the answer too and maybe I just haven't put in the hrs on NBG/04, but I was wondering if there was a limit to how much essence you can get from each individual yellow orb? Like, is there a limit to chaining UTs to increase the amount an orb is worth? I feel like if anyone can answer this it's you bro. Appreciate any feedback 🤙

Not sure what part this is referring to but usually it's to get low health for the UF. When your health bar is pulsating in the red you get the max damage boost.
