This game have the perfect soundtrack: Goes into a calm music like the one we hear in the Aqueducts, The Path of the Master Ninja and the goes wild with sounds like Sudden Threat, Battle with the Undead and this one, just to mention some of the songs because all the OST is FUCKING masterpiece. Awesome game and music, always going to have a special place in my heart

One time i won this boss fight without healing in mission mode (master ninja difficulty btw), it happend when i played every day a few years ago and it´s one of my most proudest moments of gaming.
I played this randomly for my older brother who hasn't played a Ninja gaiden game in a decade He proceeded to grit his teeth with a look of frustration in a matter of seconds He went through two fresh controllers on this fight and he's not one who's prone to raging in a video game

Alma means in both Portuguese and Spanish "soul". Also this soundtrack and game is pure legendary, I love it, miss playing it in both the original X-Box and the Sigma Plus version on the PS Vita.
You know, I've never heard anything about there being a difference in AI behavior if you have a talisman on you, but I wouldn't put it past them in this game. XD I always work hard to hold onto my talismans the whole game. I'm that type of player that likes to hoard items and use them as little as possible. Honestly, the lower item limits in Master were kind of a relief. :D
Theo Aremevano I had three all the way until the end until 1) helicopter battle in the base because I was getting railed by tank gunner before and then got my third back until 2) Vigoor Emperor second phase, losing two.
For Emperor Phase 2 I always bring a full quiver of arrows. :D He spends so much time wandering around in the lava you can chip away a ton of his health.

There is a side story in Razor’s Edge connecting it to the first NES game. Apparently, Ayane works with Irene (Sea Swallow), but I’m not sure if there’s anything else though.
