What made the basket models best over the toaster oven styles was the hot air coming down from the top. I don't see this as an improvement other than the increased capacity... which, don't get wrong, is very nice.

I have the flex door oven and I do like it but was wondering if this is worth getting and maybe rehoming the flex door

Poorly made. Uneven cooking. Badly designed drawers. Appreciate you like it, but it’s going to get recalled sooner or later, it’s not fit for purpose.
