I real like the contrast in the siblings dynamics with their parents where Nya is embarrassed or annoyed by her moms coddling and Kai is thrilled to be spending time with them its just really funny.
I love how differently Kai and Anya take to their parents presence and what it reveals about their characters. Kai has always shown to be a bit egotistical, he loves getting attention from his fans. And we see that when Ray and Maya show up he’s instantly thrilled about being coddled and spending time with them. Kai clearly missed out on a lot of affection and attention when his parents disappeared, which is why he searches for praise and affection so desperately in other aspects of his life. Meanwhile Nya is annoyed at her mother’s attempts to help her with her issues. Despite being taken care of in large part by Kai, they both pretty much raised themselves. Especially when Kai became a ninja Nua spent a lot of time on her own. Nya has always been a person who felt like they had to prove themselves. Everything she accomplished she did on her own so she’s not used to accepting help from people and is a little offended that anyone would think she needs help
@@minitiger6169maya didnt stay with her son and daughter not because she didnt want to spent time with them, but she had to do it. If not, both kay and nya will be dead by this time. Is a little sad if you think about it, cause when she had the oportunity to stay with nya, she try her best and help her. That actually makes her a really good Mother
