@thesilence1829 okay well here is what got me hoping harumi might come back lemme know what you think.. i see why some people think that she won't come back or don't want her back but these are my reasons on why i think she might come back like okay we have not seen Skylor or Pixal or Vania yet we haven't seen any old characters yet in season 1 or in the season 2 trailer and she is not dead that is the only hope i am holding on too, and it wasn't just harumi who was portrayed badly, so was lloyd and nya but they were fixed in Dragons Rising and now everybody loves them again? like it was that bad in Crystazlied i get it was controversial but i didn't think it was this bad! this is what got me holding onto hope: * Doc Wyatt and Kevin Burke really like Harumi apparently and they also see her as a broken villain that's what i've been hearing and also believe that Harumi is redeemable (I do believe Doc Wyatt and Kevin Burke do understand her character and her relationship with Lloyd they see the human within her and see that she has some goodness within herself and it could have been a good redemption arc there were too many writers for that) * we did not see any other side characters yet * she is not dead cause they did not confirm that she died or any other character had died in the merge if they are all still alive so is harumi if nothing is confirmed * She just got revived in season 16 and we did not see her in 4 years since her death in hunted and she is not dead so they cannot just throw her out she is alive if was dead that would be a different story but I hope she is not otherwise her return in Crystalized would be totally pointless so yeah those are CORRECTION WERE those were my pathetic reasons and beliefs on why i think she is coming back... but these reasons are pretty pathetic reasons right? like okay if no other side character ends up showing up by the end of the show, like you've mentioned Pixal, Wu, Garmadon, Skylor, Dareth then i would be totally cool with harumi not showing up HOWEVER!!!!! if all side character BUT HARUMI end up showing up here is what i will tell the creators of Ninjago quote Heather Chandler (from Heathers Musical, first lyric from the song Candy Store) Heather Chandler: Are we gonna have a problem? @Aden Weiner I believe she will be in the 2023 series. I don't really know, but I'm hopeful she is because she's a great character, which we love heavily, but yeah we should be getting more of harumi because they just brought her back to the show she'll either be a major part of the show and heavily involved or she'll be put into a skylor type of role where she appears sometimes but not there every season

Omg heyyyy, I saw you in another Llorumi discourse. Letting you know, I have nothing against your takes and you didn't deserve to be attacked for it (no one shouldn't have to be attacked tbh), but in all honesty, it just ONE fandom that hates Llorumi so much despite having canon attraction for one another in the show, other fandoms or people who aren't in any fandoms in general seem to have support this ship in general and this ship is so popular thanks to them. I think the main issue is that everything Harumi did to Lloyd was to hurt him personally as much as she could on an emotional level, not to get him out of the way because she stood between her and her goal. For most enemies to lovers, it's not a thing of wanting to personally emotionally scar each other so much as get the other person out of your way, even if that means fighting them. Maybe because you're on opposite sides or have been raised to hate each other's groups, but it's a slippery slope if the trope is coupled with manipulation specified for the other person with the goal of leaving them personally broken. Harumi also hasn't apologized as of yet onscreen, which can leave people wary of the idea of a romance between her and Lloyd since we aren't certain that's in their future given the ending scene of Crystalized. And her issue with Lloyd and the Ninja not preventing other attacks on Ninjago city hasn't been resolved either. As someone who likes the enemies to lovers trope but also doesn't want it to be applied to Lloyd and Harumi, this is why I'm not a fan of the idea of them getting back together. It would take a lot of work on the writing staff's part to show both that Harumi is willing to change, has apologized to Lloyd, that Lloyd has healed enough from his trauma with her to be in a healthy relationship with her, and to show that everyone else would be on board. I don't think she's irredeemable as a person and I like her character, but if done incorrectly, her romance with Lloyd could easily send a message of staying with someone who because there is a chance they might change even if they don't show signs of it, which Harumi still hasn't done yet since she fough the Overlord not necessarily to help out Lloyd because she realized she was wrong both for blaming him for things out of his control and for hurting innocent people in Ninjago twice, but because she found out the actual responsible party for her parents' deah was the Overlord. There's also a weird disconnect with both Lloyd and Harumi's characters that came about in Crystalized. For Harumi, they kind of retconned the fact that she admitted to never caring for Lloyd since she openly says as much in season 8 and never acts like she cares about him once she's revealed as the Quiet One but her talk with the Overlord says otherwise. And when it comes to Lloyd, his actions are a bit confusing since he consistently reaches out to Harumi, who at the time showed no want to change but shuns Garmadon for most of the season despite seeing the desire in his father to be good. This wouldn't be such a problem if there was a reason given. Like Lloyd how maybe it's hard to wrap his mind around it since his dad has flip flopped so many times in his life. Or maybe he has some trauma connected to Garmadon's four armed form and how no matter how hard Garmadon tried to be good in that form, it never stuck. But since that isn't explained, it's a bit weird to watch Lloyd have such different reactions towards both characters. Harumi enjoyed the idea of killing everyone Lloyd loved twice while he begged her to keep the fight between them, so there would be a lot that would need to be overcome for them to be a healthy couple. I'm not saying it can't happen, nor that it would ruin the show, nor that it couldn't be done well, nor that I'm willing to fight a shipping war over a couple of Legos, but I hope this explains why there is a divide in the community despite them being representative of such a popular trope. The road from where they are now to possible romantic interests would be a rough one that could easily send a poor message, especially since romance isn't exactly Ninjago's stromg suit, but you never know. Ninjago has a strong theme of making your enemy your friend, so they could pull it off if done with a lot of care.

I grew up watching these kind of dynamic in anime as well! I think enemies to lovers trope is so popular in third world countries (and Latin America + South America) and that's why ships like Llorumi are so extremely popular and well loved by many there. Of course, I don't support these kind of relationships irl but in fiction, there is a lot of potential for them to work out.

I've seen some comments saying that if llorumi happens again they'll delete their account and never watch lego ninjago again🤣, though I don't think most of them were serious.....whatever the situation is, I'm just going to be like : 🙋bye
