I’m not gunna give you my opinion on this buuuuuut… Some would argue it’s already LIKE starwars - black coated characters with Arin and Euthrasia - LGBTQ representation with the background character having pride flags/ non-binary patch’s - ( and the big one ) the implied romance of Geo and Cole, which not only have the two main writers shown nothing but support for, but some scenes seem *pretty* romantic one way or another… And it’s not just that, if you look at any video discussing Geo and Cole you’ll find it has like triple the amount of comments then that persons norma video and majority are either complaining about that ship, or calling Ninjago woke, which as I’m sure you know is what people call Star Wars

I think a spin off or two here and there could be great (serpentine war would be perfect for it) but I do have worries with going into TV spinoffs given the state of franchises like Star Wars who have completely abandoned their core identity to become a cameo slop spinoff factory to compete with Marvel. ninjago probably wont stoop to that low though i hope😭

Ninjago has a lot of reasons to be one of my favourite TV Series but one of the biggest ones is that compared to some other series, Ninjago has the advantage of being ginormous in terms of lore and characters and basically everything. What's more, Dragons Rising S2 has left us with at least 50 unanswered questions which only shows that the franchise can keep on living and build up on the already massive lore it has

I'm kinda unsure how to feel about this. One the one hand, I love the franchise and would love more of it. On the other hand, most Franchises that went on long usually dipped in quality. Look at the Simpsons, Walking Dead and Family Guy for example. Not to mention, TV shows that go on for a long time get this "wow, it's still going? Are they never gonna stop?" reputation, wich would hurt the IP. I'm excited for what's to come, and I hope Ninjago not ending soon doesn't stop or demotivates Lego from trying to make great new themes. Far too many got canceled too early just because they couldn't live up to Ninjago's standards.

The thing about Ninjago is that is consistently good and mediocre at times, imo DR S1 was pretty mediocre but DR S2 is much better than DR S1. The quality of everything so far in DR has been going higher with animation, sets and storyline as well, Ninjago can be a wildcard when it comes to seasons being good or not. I mean look at S11, S12 then S13 which is considered one of the best seasons in the series history, then S14 being good but then Crystalized happened. It goes up and down but the show still manages to continue to push out quality enough content on all fronts to keep it going strong, and with the direction of where the show is going now with Arin and hopefully more focus on Evil Jay I think Ninjago is staying for so much more longer. Im not trying to discredit you because like you said, this show has been going on for 13 years, older fans are growing up while new ones stroll in so it'll be very mixed on the way people are perceiving the show based on when they joined, if they enjoy it and a lot more.

I really hope Dragons rising doesn’t stay for longer than 10 seasons. That might just be because of what happened with masters of Spinjitzu, but also because I just genuinely want it to stay a nice and refreshing story. And for it to not overstay its welcome like with the 11 Minute Era Of MoS.

Definetely won't happen, Keep in mind the average DR season is twice as long as MoS one (btw the 11 minute era is not a part of MoS but its own show)

@@filiposki301 yeah, I do see that it’s a soft reboot, but it’s also an ending for most things that happened in Older seasons no? Like, they reference them quite a lot compared to dragons rising, where it’s rarely mentioned. Although I do have high hopes for DR in general.

LETS GO! Really hope they don’t ruin the show tho. I definitely think the show(s) should end at some point. I dont want them to milk it and turn into star wars. If Doc Wyatt and Kevin are writing and the DR Team stay with Wildbrain animating it then im all onboard. After the shows (Original Show, DR, Third Show, and possibly Fourth Show) ends they should occasionally make shorts, comics, spinoffs, specials, etc to please the fans. The only thing I don’t want is if LEGO doesn’t see Ninjago as profitable anymore and LEGO cancels it leaving it on a cliffhanger or something like that. Im just as happy as you. This is my favorite show of all time.

I think after DR the entire show should end on a high note and then we get spin-offs. One with TFSM in the first realm and his time there, we can also get more Oni, the Serpentine Wars, the time between Crystalized and Dragons rising, or between the merge and DR. But I don’t want another show that is canonically after DR, it wouldn’t be good

All right, if they are really gonna continue this universe, I would say switch directors time to time and also writers, but don’t just have any director showrunner just do the episodes have someone who is familiar with the universe and understands the source material the reason I’m saying this is because one with the new writers and Director they can bring in more fresh ideas that keep this franchise alive and fresh. They should also try their best not to re-thread story lines that were done before. they are also at least break out when to give Ninjago a full conclusive ending matter of time until the franchise start to get worn out

It’s a bad idea to continue it for so long, honestly. Ninjago needs an actual ending eventually, it’s not an episodic show like SpongeBob and can’t go on forever. It’s not like they can’t milk it if the series ends, they can easily just still make more random sets without new seasons, they can do remakes of older seasons/remake the wilfilm seasons in the wildbrain style (or an entirely new artstyle or something I don’t know) and have an excuse to remake old sets, they can make a ninjago game, etc.

I'm glad the show is gonna stay with us but I'm worried for how long. We are closer to the 18th birthday than to the show's premiere. That is A LOT for a single continuity kids show, Transformers is old af but it's split into several very distinct universes. I fear it's gonna run into problems eventually and maybe this time they won't be as easy to fix

Honestly this isn’t surprising in the slightest. I never thought the show as a whole was going to end after dragons rising. As long as Ninjago sells Lego is going to keep making it. Will Ninjago end one day? Maybe. Honestly I have no idea but I would be OK with it ending as long as it had a great and satisfying series finale. I really wonder what’s gonna happen after dragons rising. Personally I would love a sequel series takes place like 100 years after the main show. Most of the OG ninja would be dead and we would have new main characters and get to see how much of the world has changed in the time since the old show. That’s never gonna happen because Lego would never get rid of any of the OG ninja but it’s an interesting idea

I think it would be cool to see more of Wu and Garmadon in the serpentine wars, also I think it would be awesome to see the original Electric and Ice master’s backstory, to see how and why Jay’s biological mom decided to leave him with Ed and Edna, and why the og Master of Ice left his power with Zane.

If Seasons 0-16 focused on the original 6 Ninja, Dragons Rising could focus on the transition of roles from the legacy characters to the new Ninja. Which could mean that the next series will focus on the newer Ninja officially stepping into their roles.

I love Ninjago, it’s one of my favorite shows ever! I’ve been a fan of ninjago since 2014/2015 (I got into the show when season 4 was new and airing), and I’ve made it a yearly tradition to watch it whenever a new season drops. I love every season (some more than others of course) and I’m glad it’s still Jumping up, kicking back, whipping around, and spinning. (Gosh, I miss the weekend whip, why’d they have to get rid of it!? I miss when the intros were fun and cool!) I was disappointed when the movie came out (they didn’t even do spinjitsu >:( ) but, I’ve grown to appreciate it more, I’m glad it exists regardless. Man, I need to make a video or something talking about my love for this show!

Speaking of how there are Ninjago books, still super annoying that they never released Garmadon rulez and the Destiny’s bounty logbook in English even though they are both canon and English was the language they were originally written in (also annoyed they stopped making Ninjago DVDs after season 8 so my collection will forever be incomplete)

As much as I love Dragons Rising and just Ninjago in general, I was really hopping that D.R. was going to be the ending. I want the show to end on a high note instead of being dragged out until it's nothing but a cash grab. But it really just depends on whether or not whatever comes next is good of not. Honestly my plan is to stop collecting Ninjago sets and stop following the show so closely after Dragons Rising ends. Unless whatever comes next is somehow even better than D.R.

-mid as hell and overreliant on nostalgic cameos -really really amazing but the guy who made it so good left marvel and never came back -okay but nothing special even then this is three projects out of 26 or so since endgame came out, which isnt a very good ratio. if marvel themselves acknowledged the fall off then thats proof that they fell off

@@Crusty783 Well the No Way Home cameos play a part in the story, and it helped redeem the Amazing Spider-Man films. And Deadpool 3 was a proper send off to the Fox era of Marvel, and helped set up the Mutants in the MCU.
