i like how Skales is clearly the more competent leader and how he has to put up with his villainous superiors, being idiots.

Its interesting that all Scales wanted was a society for his people. Yes he wanted to destroy the surfsce dwellers, but he never wanted his people to be conquerers, just a funcioning society. Even after somw time, we see he doesn't hold a grudge once society is acheived among his people and even settles down to have a family. Truly a legend.

Who else cheered when Skales finally became the snake king and when he showed up in season 3 again!

Scales is the only one who deserves to lead the serpentine python managed to rally them together but it’s obvious he didn’t actually care about any of them he just wanted revenge treated them badly and only did nice things for fear of their reaction if he didn’t and ended up releasing the giant snake that would’ve killed them all lord garmadon was far more competent but he treated the serpentine very badly he threatened to kill them with the golden weapons if they didnt follow him and he constantly abused them while they were he called them slithering idiots he yelled at them for questioning him those things can be glossed over as him being under pressure but then he literally had them thrown over the side of the ship for having 1 bad idea not caring if they drowned if he keeps that up soon he will no longer have any army to command plus even though scales didn’t like garmadon he still rescued him from the cops and temporary decided to work for him scales took a lot to hit his breaking point and decided to do with garmadon the same thing garmadon did to serpentine you had a bad idea you go over the side and he actually came up with a proper plan that only failed because of the door and rather than breaking down he simply juts moved on and made his subjects a nice kingdom in the place and had a child who he tries his best to care for he decided to abandon his petty vengeance and stuff for the sake of his subjects future and forgave the ninja for all their problems something python would never have done he deserves everything

The original serpentine had so much wasted potential. They were robbed of screen time and Skales became much more dull and bitter after they were trapped again.

I was depressed when he was sealed away but when he returned in rebooted a good guy with a family my mind was blown and overjoyed

Skales is my favorite character in Ninjago, second only to Pythor. Some time taking the number one spot in my head but mostly in my heart.

Man, the Hypnobrais were my favorite out of the original four tribes (or five if you count the Anacondrais)! And watching Skales’s moments from season one and two again, I grew to love this snake now! 🤩🥰

I don't know why but skales reminds to starscream and soundwave from Transformers *Starscream because of his ambition and personality *Soundwave beacuse he actually was the only smart serpentine. After phytor of course

I realized, Skales has a shorter tail than the other serpentine generals, until he becomes king, and Slithraa actually had a much longer tail than Skales before they fought. Maybe it was because he was younger??
