Still got Sims, Nintendogs and Pilotwings on my New 3DS XL.

Looking back, this wasn't a bad launch line up at all, IMO. All of these would have kept me satisfied for the rest of the year. And the AAA's we knew were coming the same year anyway. Alot of these I missed out on since I got my 3DS a few months after launch. Need to pick them up soon!

It's crazy that the 3DS came out 9 years ago, it had the last batch of mayor games in 2019, and it was a fantastic console, the Switch still keeps the legacy of Nintendo handhelds

Man... This thing 12 years old... Lol and I was 12 when it came out. I remember trying to get one and couldn't see find it. It was constantly sold out where I was at.

@nintendoress Gamefreak just released Pokemon Black/White DS two weeks prior to the 3DS launch, the 2D Mario team is working on Pikmin 3, and the Galaxy team's Super Mario 3D is coming out later this year. We probably won't get a Metroid Prime title for a while since Rare was working on Donkey Kong Country Returns and the group that worked with Team Ninja on Other M is making Rhythm Heaven for the Wii. Be thankful that we got Pilotwings, SSF4, and Nintendogs.

I find it hilarious that they reused the voices from their reaction video at the beginning of this one. And Nintendo didn't design the parallax barrier (the technology used to make the screen appear in 3D). This technology has been around for a long time. They tried putting that screen in the GBA SP but the resolution wasn't good enough. Looks like Nintendo finally stepped up to 360p, congrats!

@pablomoblo me too but you whats funny probably im the only one to notice but super mario 3d is sorta a mini remake of super mario bros 3 couse they in trailer mario picks up a leave and turns into racoon mario also on trailer it shows him on a ship usaly like in mariobros3 were you get to a boss and the boss shown in the trailer reminds me of one the bosses in mario bros 3 eathier im smart or fail at comparing the 2 games i know some people will think this comment fails but i dont care honesly

"WOW, HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE, THAT IS CRAZY" is probably one of the cheesiest openings ever for a console trailer.

@nshill96 it's called wario ware D.I.Y for teh DS/DSi's but will also work for teh 3DS. theirs also some app called piet computer or something like that in the JAPAN DSi store that lets you code simple games like SNAKE

Lookin that list now in 2017.... I´d say that the 3ds had a good lineup of launch games. Ghost Recon, Pilotwings, Ridge Racer 3ds ans Street Fighter IV are still among the best games on the system

The rayman game looks really good,but i don't remenber if it's a remake of rayman 2 or 3, annd they forgot to show the resident evil 3d

@frankyagernull Nintendogs doesn't suck. It's my favorite launch game lol and I bought six. Including SSIV3D. I'm thinking of getting 3 more games though. (good thing moar 3ds games came out now!)

DOA Dimensions, Kid Icarus, SMT Overclocked and Persona 3DS, Paper Mario... These are the titles I'm looking for. Looks like I'll have to pick up Street Fighter just because EVERYONE's going to have it as there's little else to choose from if you're not into tech demos

i think the launch titles weren't that bad actually. i mean seriously. WHO THE HELL is gonna buy every launch title. Nintendo gave us a decent selection.My complaint is i like the asphault series but this one has crap framerate. Oh well, looks like im getting ridge racer.

First one, second one, and the second to last one are the only games I would have bought.

Now that we have a remake of Ocarina of Time for the 3DS what about a remake of Super Mario 64 for either the 3DS or the Wii or the WiiU... And I know that there is a remake of Super Mario 64 for Nintendo DS but make a whole new remake! =P
