Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System - The console of a generation! 

I know that the buttons on the US Super NES controllers were intended to make the system feel more adult but I really do like the look of the colored buttons on the Japanese and European versions. I always felt that it was a shame that our controllers never came with that option.

At first I was laughing at the "in HD at 60 Hz" that kept popping up, but then I remembered that this is a PAL release of a bunch of SNES games. Most games were 50 Hz here back in the 90s, so pointing out that these games are running at 60 Hz is a legit selling point.

This is ALMOST the greatest thing ever. Now all it needs is an announcement to say that a couple of months down the track you'll be able to purchase an expansion that will add 20 more games to the collection.

love this console. We got it for christmas and me and my siblings love it! I always loved street fighter. It's the best! totally reccomend!

as a PlayStation Enthusiast, I can't deny that SNES was my first Console and my first love :) ever and I can't deny that i'm Hyped for SNES MINI

The PAL SNES looks nicer than the NTSC one. I'm glad they retained that look for its release in PAL countries.

I want one of these even though I still have my SNES and most of these games. Man, I'm old.

That rewind feature looks like a pain in the arse to use.

They should just keep this in production like Lego sets, for a year or 2. They'd continue selling like crazy :) looks so amazing. I did manage to pre-order one but 2 weeks late(in Europe) so I'm still afraid to believe I'll get one. But I'd want everyone to get one who wants one, such a beloved system by so many.

Just recieved the console 3 days ago and I love it. I only have 2 issues with it: 1: it should have come with wireless controllers or at least longer controller cables 2: if it was actually able to take the original game cartridges and not only play the preinstalled games that would have really awesome. I know this would mean increased size for the console but it would have been so cool and also let me use the Super Game Boy to let me play Game Boy games

Hey nintendo why don't you make it with eshop feature? Would be great to buy some extra games for a cheap price like between 2$ to5$. And this maybe would give some motivations for indie developers to create some new games. We can have a cheaper/retro console for retro or poor gamers and if you can give some support on that would be more than great. I think this is a win win situation. We love retro games of 16bit era. Can you give it life right now. Gamers are ready for this and I think you have nothing to lose!

If you don't mind splashing an additional £30 like i did (price difference to £ + postage), there are still online shops within Europe that offer international delivery on the release day - not taking a risk of waiting for 'walk in' wars on the 29th nor 15min long lasting online restocks in the middle of the night on Tuesday lol

Good to see the unreleased Star Fox 2 make it's debut here. Also nice that they included Final Fantasy VI, Earthbound and Secret of Mana on there but no Chrono Trigger. That game I hear was one of the best SNES RPG's ever, how could they not put that on there.
