I used to be a kid so I only played violent games to try and prove myself as cool. But then I grew up and I realized fun and creativity were more important to games.
Dude even I play games like Halo but STILL love and play Nintendo games. There's so much quality in them. Just because kids enjoy them doesn't mean they're not designed specifically FOR them.
It will eventually be ported to Wii U. 6 months or so after it comes out. Wont be the best version cause it wasnt built using the Wii U it was built for Xbox360/PS3.
I'm 17, almost 18, I absolutely love Nintendo, and consider this, Nintendo is what changed the generation of games, from handhelds, to the oh so common Wii, it inspired both Sony and Microsoft to enable the player access to the activities like with the Sony Move and the Kinect. All inspired by Nintendo. Now consider this, Nintendo has made it clear that they are yet again changing the generation of game play. You seemed accustomed to hard core gaming which in it's right it fair enough.
The street view thing would be even cooler if the wii fit would be compatible with it. You walk on the wii fit and as u walk you walk in the street view as well choosing where to turn with the gamepad.
I like Nintendo and their games and i'm teen, does that makes me a kid? No. Does that makes me childish? No. Does it make me a better person? Yes. Does it gives me so much memories that i will remember forever? Yes. Is CoD and Halo any better? No. So shut up about it.
Ninja Gaiden 3 - Razor's Edge has been among my most played and enjoyed Wii U games already. The Momiji DLC which is already out makes the game even better. Kasumi will be making a first appearance in the weapon based action game. That will be pretty epic for fans of Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden!!!
It's not actually him. It's really this guy called Josh Robert Thompson who plays the voice of Geoff Peterson on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and is known for his incredible Morgan Freeman impression.
The pro controller isn't a necessity to play games like black ops or ME3, the gamepad is comfortable to hold and is meant to be suitable for that type of gameplay. They shouldve put a headset jack on the pro, but whatever.
5:12 It looks like a parody of The Shawshank Redemption. He calls the inmate Blue (Morgan Freeman's character in Shawshank was Red), you see he gave an inmate a fishing line (because Red in Shawshank was a man that "knew how to get things") and at 5:16 you'll notice the inmate in the background dump rocks from his pants (which is what Tim Robbin's character Andy Dufresne did to hide the rock he dug up from his cell). The Morgan Freeman voice acting was the icing on the cake.
Just because a game has a kiddy art style, doesn't necessarily mean its only for kids. There are plenty of teens & adults I know who are massive fans of Pikmin & Kirby.
I just hope there will at least be more games announced soon. They already missed an opportunity for Christmas sales. And if they miss January, it'll be like the Vita and 3DS.
The October one was on my Birthday! and the one in Japan on that day had new Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon footage! (Or, as it is called in Japan, Luigi Mansion 2)
pikmin 3 looks like a freaking pixar movie wow. it has the best graphic than i have ever seen on any console. i guess the wii u is much more powerful than we thought. yes
Okay, first off. It rarely freezes, it usually only freeze when you try to put a disc in when it's on a loading screen, or when you're trying to do too many things at once. And the gamepad links to the console very well, the only times it ever happens to me is sometimes the disconnection notice comes up when I choose the wii menu, even though it's supposed to turn off anyway. The Wii U doesn't wobble, unless you have a rough or bumpy shelf surfaces, it sits on a shelf very well
All I'm saying is a new Zelda, 3D Mario, and Smash Bros game trailer is fitting for E3. They may have a few surprises in these but nothing too major. All their big announcements are always at E3.
Give them a break. They're not professional speakers or anything, they're just regular people who work at Nintendo, and they're probably too busy doing their actual work during the rest of the day to bother memorizing a script. Nintendo is actually pretty unique in the fact that both their CEO (Mr. Iwata), COO (Reggie), and some developers actually do all of this PR type stuff themselves instead of having a spokesperson or actors to do it for them.
Nintendo Man... You care a lot about the Producers and Presidents and feel they care about the fans too. It's like they're not doing it for profits... but for our fun.. Long live Nintendo
The difference being Barney is undeniably a children's show made to teach kids, while Nintendo is a company who make games enjoyable by all ages- at least, those mature enough to understand that colourful, simple games aren't inherently for kids. Saying Nintendo is undeniably for kids because the games aren't "hardcore" is akin to say South Park is undeniable for children since it's a cartoon.
This is the 3DS all over again. Everyone said it was going to fail the moment (and I quote from an Amazon review) "the glorious PS Vita is released." Well, look where we are now: As of June 2012, PS Vita has only sold 2.2 million units. In one week, the PSP outsold it. It has a totally crappy library with hardly any 1st party games. As of June 2012, Nintendo 3DS has sold 22 million units. It has a really strong library as well as some really amazing first party games. Doomed indeed.
Are you sure it wasn't handled poorly by shipping officials like FedEx? Remember last Christmas one of the FedEx employees threw a computer monitor over a fence. And then a UPS official flipped the bird later in the month....
It's the kind of game that makes you think. I don't really know what it is, but the game has so much personality to it. Because there will be 7 pikmin types, the gameplay should stay fresh.
