I just bought my miyoo mini plus and got excited about the DS compatibility. I was trying to find a list of games that could be played well on this device and this video is just what I needed. Thanks for putting so much effort on it.
Been having a blast with Pokemon Black on my MM+ so far. The emulation is good enough for me to get by since its a slow paced turn based game. Not ideal, but it works and those animated sprites look great on this display. Glad to see that the Advance Wars, Castlevanias and M&L games run great as those are next on my list. Great video!
I bought a miyoo mini with onion os pre installed and it came with a few ds games too. How do I install more ds games? Do I just update onion and then download and add the few ds games I'm looking to add? Or do I need to complete other steps first? I'm new to emulators so I'm worried I'll mess it up. Thanks!
21:13 Bowser's Inside Story is straight up unplayable without a touch screen once you get to the minigames and giant battles (which are sadly mandatory).
I managed to get it working on my miyoo mini plus but I don’t have access to retro arch or any functionality on the home button and can’t don’t have the full screen option. Anyone know why?
Hi, I'm trying to play Pokemon diamond, and when I try to start the game the professor tells me to touch the button on the screen with the Pokeball. I don't know how to do this can I get help?
Im definetely going with this one i was so confused weather to buy the rg35xx or this one but this is so so cuter,compact,but the only difference this thing has with the xx is the xx has an hdmi port qnd this one has wifi
I had a similar issue. I had to get a new micro SD card, add the onion os and rom for pokemon black and I was able to leave the host and continue playing for an hour. However, now the game refuses to go past the loading screen. Not sure why, though.
just curious. the games that run bad is that just because of lack of performance or it is because the emulation is still in development. will there be real improvements coming or is this the max we can exspect of the mm+ ?
Both. This device won't get much better at DS due to the actual power of it, but the emulation is still early too. You won't see massive gains either way.
so i bought this from miyoo and they had a version already pre installed with onion. i connected to wifi and updated to 4.2. my issue is select + A doesn't make it full screen and select + Y doesn't allow border changes. every other command works. any idea on what to do? google isn't really helping and your videos tend to help alot

Great video! The only issue I have is the menus isn't showing when I press the combination buttons, nor does the middle button work, it just goes to saving and quitting game through the Onion OS app. I'm on 1.8, tried 1.7 same issue. Any clue how to get around that? Thanks a bunch!
@@trevorm1357 I solved this issue by pressing the menu button and start but not together. I think its pressing one before the other, and keeping it pressed. I gave up on the DS emulator anyways, i'm using an actual DS to play the games..
@@trevorm1357 also try installing the drastic emulator natively rather than downloading it from elsewhere. And don't forget to update the onion os as well.
Good has a bit of dips or not really running great in my opinion, where great is essentially perfect ish. I wouldn't look too much into it, just did it for fun.
