Nintendo eShop - Mega Man Battle Network on the Wii U Virtual Console 

you just made me want to play this game again just for the music. the Battle Network games were some of the best megaman games

Personally I thought the zero and zx games had the best soundtrack.

BattleNetwork music had a unique charm that separated it from all other megaman game soundtracks, probably being an Action RPG in cyberspace the music was given a great atmosphere for what it was. Even BN4, the worst BN game by far had a rocking soundtrack even though again it sucked. I'm not saying BN had ths best soundtrack but it was unique and SF, the successor to BN, had a decent tracks too even though it was inferior in gameplay in my opinion, I It was just so restricting and made me feel oddly claustrophobic at times being confined to 3 panels

I didn't play more than three of these BN games, but if there is a theme that I always liked was Needle man's theme from Network Transmission.

Loved this game to heart i play this like ALL THE TIME when i was young i couldn't let it go. :P

But what gba games does the 3ds have?

well 3ds doesnt have gba but they have gameboy, gameboy color, and 3d classics

If a lot of people feel this same way, and not buy this one because they're waiting for MMBN2 to come out, it won't come out because not enough people bought this one.

Battle network 2 and 3 are coming but its said to be released after 2014

As long as they add either some form of link compatibility or release it on the 3DS virtual console because otherwise, a very sizeable chunk of the games will be missing.

2 and 3 are coming (the first three games are always said to be the best), but maybe not this year. Next is a more reasonable release date.

Nope, just Megaman. Because Megaman needs love, especially after being ignored for half a decade. I'd love to see the ends of ZX and Legends because of Nintendo, as Capcom just doesn't care anymore. It's kind of why Inafune left Capcom too I think, because Capcom hates Megaman for some reason or another.

Unfortunately they currently don't have plans for a DS type virtual console on the Wii U. Though a DS attachment like the GBA player on the gamecube and the gameboy cartridge on the snes would be cool.

Actually they do have plans for DS games on the eShop, look it up.

Super Tyler Battle network was a ds game

Daniel Lipovchenko Battle Network 1-6 was for GameBoy Advance. They re-released Battle Network 5 on DS as a slightly upgraded version (not by much iirc).

They released Brain Age Academy on Japanese VC

I won't but favorite battle network game is BN5,

Favorite Mega Man game is Battle Network 3 Blue, mainly because it is the one I have the most memories with.

Mine was BN4 blue moon when they first introduced the dark chip I felt so cool using it! And than my other favorite is BN6 both versions hard to choose which one is better!

Nintendo or Capcom won't do it for some reason, notice each time that simply port a game in it's pure state there is no multiplayer which would make 3 and onward uncompletable due to exclusive chips and such.

3DS can run GBA games.

In ds mode thanks to the ambassador program. The 3ds itself isn't running it. Therefor, you can not save state. Or put the system into sleep mode.
