It the very least it allows for much cheaper peripherals, at least it should. It’s good in that sense because it allows them to make so many more and have decent selling rates for them as they aren’t a huge expense and could probably be packaged with the game they’re made for

great idea but did nintendo think about durability. Mostly kids use the swich so they might not be as careful which means it should be really cheap so that in the likely event of it breaking it isn't expensive to replace it.
