Thank you for including Battle of Olympus in your Nes hidden gems 3 video. That's an NES game I mentioned that deserves a place as an overlooked action rpg.
@BdR76
@BdR76 8 лет назад
4:55 that Fire and Ice is such a cool game. It has 100 regular levels, but then also 50(!) hidden bonus levels as an easter egg. If the game was released today that would probably have been paid DLC.

I'm so nostalgic for that G.I. Joe NES game... used to go far but never finished when I was a child.

Pinball Quest was easily my favorite NES game next to the SMB series. I'd die 10x if they remade that gem.. There aren't many pinball games with that amount of depth in story.

Also, I think a lot of people know this, but if you input 'TGL' as the password on Guardian Legend, it allows you to play through just the shooter sections.
@grimmbilly9263

They also give you this password after you finish the game, probably because they knew no one would want to play through the whole game a second time.

Am I the only one who noticed the Captain N shirt (edit: no)? That's awesome! I need to watch it with my son. I have some of these games, but not all of them. Crystalis is an absolutely amazing game. I beat it again last year. GI Joe was one of my NES games, and I loved it. Still trying to pick it up again.

Tough making a hidden gems video on Nintendo games these days, but there were a few titles in this list I hadn't heard of. I recently played Shatterhand. Great game, has a bit of a Vice Project Doom feel to it which you covered in an earlier video.

To remove those EB game labels (former employee here) You simply just use a blow dryer on the label, and after a minute or two of hear blasting you can peel it right off

Thank you, MetalJesusRocks. I am starting my video game collection over again because I have always needed to sell my video game to provide for my family. I mean to support my mom and younger brother and sister and then my ex wife. Now, I don't have to support those people and these videos are making me so happy because now i can both buy and keep this stuff. Waiting on my copy of Rad Racer to come in the mail today. Next week I should get Captain Skyhawk for NES and sonic CD and 3 Dirty Dwarves for pc. Went cheap, but not going deeper in debt, climbing out of debt. Pretty happy today watching these videos.

Use a air dryer and blow it onto the label. Once the label area is nice and hot start pulling on it SLOWLY. The adhesive liquifies and will adhere back onto the label itself. Use goo gone to wipe away any remaining residue or stickiness.

About those nasty stickers on the labels, according to 16 bit Gems if you blow hot air over the sticker with a hairdryer the glue will melt again and you can remove it with less risk.
@rehiza

Hey guys if you use a hair dryer on the sticker. It heats up and reactivates the glue and makes it easy to peel off. I’m a reseller on eBay and have been using this trick for 15 years.

Guardian Legend yessss!!! This game has some unique history. Collectors should check out and get a hold of "Goardic Gaiden" (guardic) the Japanese version. It comes with a nifty fabric poster for the wall and the label art is really cool. Try as you might to find the Phone Card featuring TGL as well as the illusive guide book (a thick book filled with illustrations and guides). System D.P. (the character) is my favorite VG Character of all time. Also try to find Guardic for the MSX which is a prequel-type game and was featured in a few arcades. It would have been fun to play it back in the day.

Powerblade is not an obscure title, it got a sequel in Japan and US. Pal-B countries like Scandinavia did only get the first game. But it was very common since you pretty much saw it in everyone's collection where I lived. Obscure titles are more like Burai Fighter, Werewolf, Rad Gravity, Little Samson, Eliminator Boat Duel, Mr Gimmick, Jetsons Cogswell's Caper.

1) I have that game! It's rare? I thought it was just obscure. Decent game. 2) This game is great. 3) I've never heard of this game. 4) I've never heard of this. 5) I haven't heard of this one, but it sounds really cool. 6) This was a decent game. Calling it a gem is a bit of a stretch for me, but it's in my collection and gets played every so often. 7) I know the title, but I've never played it. 8) That's a sweet game. I really enjoy this one for its age. 9) This game is one of my top NES games. It's so fun, but a bit easy. I didn't care for the sequel nearly as much. 10) Great RPG, hugely underrated. It was released on Game Boy Color, too. 11) I've seen it in stores, but I never did play it. I should pick it up and give it a try.

yeeah, "Shatter hand" is an awesome game with incredible gameplay and music. I've played it in 90-s when I was a child. Since we had only pirate cloned-consoles in my country(Ukraine) that were compatible with japanese cartridges, I played japanese version of the game, where robot but not human was the main character in this game. But levels and everything was the same. The funny thing is that cartridges with this game were labeled "Robocop-4":)
