Congrats on falling victim to their stupid scheme to milk even more money out of you. 16 Amiibos at the base price of $12.99 is $207.84 before taxes. That means you spent over $200 for silly physical DLC, potentially much more depending on whether you shelled out to scalpers or not.
Amiibos are so awesome. What makes them so awesome is how vague they’ve become, and they’ve gathered an aura of mystery about them. And the older they get the more value they’ll gain.
@Jim's Studio well, it is. It gives you enough info about the video maker. Like he doesnt know what he is talking about, so then you can stop wasting your time.
I wonder if anyone made a Android App to hack them and make them at the highest level without having to actually play the games and level up the hard regular way?
So they're just hype. Man I was thinking something more similar to skylanders but transferable. It would be awesom to have my own custom character transferable to different games.
Miss Hollie I believe certain games only work with it corresponding amiibos. The top left of an amiibo’s packaging shows the name of the game that it works with.
I still dont see the point. They are ALL compatible in any Compatible games, some are only compatible in smash. I dont get the hype, please someone explain
So, I’m new to this. You said you can level up and power up the amiibo character but can you do that for any character anyway on the console or do you need the amiibo?
This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in video game. You pay money for something you can’t control and play as the character? Reminds me of E-pet keychain.
You can't see it, but there's a teeny tiny chip into the bottom of the character (not the case with amiibo cards). You see the base? There's a NFC chip over there, which you can look by tampering with the figurine, which you REALLY don't want to. "Buying a 20 dollar thing for something stupid" You are actually sounding like my father.
It's something stupid and expensive. It's just a Memory Card (very limited capacity) with a wireless NFC chip. Amiibo= wireless memory card with very low range and capacity , now that's what I call stupid.
@@pocketneogeo-inter it's not only that. It's an actual figurine. Since you dont see the appeal in buying collectible toys then of course it will look stupid. For example, I dont like baseball or trading cards, but there are really old collectible baseball trading cards worth in the millions out there. Value is subjective.
