Very interesting that you’re predicting a new Mario Party game when there’s an upcoming Mario Party this October. Also, interesting that you bring up Animal Crossing and Splatoon when 1) Splatoon 3 is finishing up its final splatfests this year; and 2) they’re both developed within the same team or group of people within Nintendo.
I mean, it's games that sell consoles, not consoles that sell games, so many of these make sense. I, personally, will definitely buy Switch 2 if it'll be followed by a native version of Pokemon Legends Z-A. Especially if there will be a limited edition console with Zygarde or something
There is no way we will get another Mario Party in 2025. We get a Mario Party every 3 Years since ND Cube took over. And because we get a Mario Party this year i dont see a new one next year
They so need to release the same cartridge for both consoles and patch the older games because there are so many new games and ones they have yet to remaster that will run fine on the current switch for a long time to come and the install base is ridiculous.
Another of my guess is that either year 1/2 we will have new luigi's mansion and that between year 2-3 we will have new paper mario (not rpg, bc of the revival of mario and luigi, which I think will have the role of rpg) and then year 4-5 we will have new mario and luigi if they sell good and between year 5-6 new 2D mario
I dont think Splatoon 4 will release 2025, 2026 seems more likely, cause Splatoon 3 is JUST now ending soon with the final splatfest. and there was a 2 year period between the final splatfest of splatoon 2 and the release of splatoon 3.
Yeah I could see that! I have another video outlining my thoughts on a dope 2D DKC game idea that I think could really be a great switch 2 game, if that interests you at all 👍👍
@@steviemeeks An interesting analysis of the release date. If it turns out to be true, it would give me a large amount of time to complete a project I am working on. It would be a challenge to see my game on a next-generation Nintendo console. I truly hope your assumption is correct.
Man when the switch 2 is released it will go parabolic. Or or, all the hype causes switch 2 to burn down…I really hope in the switch 2 they bring back more Mii iterations. I too want the Wiisports and resort to return. I’d like to also see a NintendoLand return. Open launch games either Mario (Return to like Mario 64 or odd). I’d like to see some new 1st party titles, some 3rd party support. I really want a strong like Netflix of Nintendo games, backward compatibility with legacy switch games. I’d like them to continue supporting indie devs. Bring me MOTHER 3!!!
I'd say my only disagreement is Splatoon and Animal Crossing. Those two franchises are made by the same team, Nintendo EPD 5. I believe within the first two years, we will see one of those, but not both. My bet is on Animal Crossing since that bot sold the most and we just got Splatoon 3, which could still be played for a while if it's backwards compatible.
Animal crossing suposely leaked to be realased 2026 and splatoon being about to be finished, It makes sence to be realeased 2026, bc I don't think they Will want to keep players waiting so long to be realed year 3 so my Guess IS that both Will be realed 2026

Yea, probably most of them Will arrive within year 1 and 2 but most Will be released year one because they have to sell consoles and switch has been a enormous hit which for lot of people Will be hard to give up
With Iwata not being in charge anymore, I don’t think we’re getting a Switch 2 but instead a GameCube 2. Furukawa is going for all power for Nintendo’s next console. I much rather have a GameCube 2 with 500GB instead of a Switch 2 with 32GB.
@@lpfan4491 Wii was a GameCube with motion controls. Wii U was more like a sequel to GameCube and what we should’ve got in 2006 under a different name. Iwata destroyed Nintendo’s image during his tenure as president, I also wish Wii and DS never existed and Nintendo just made GameCube 2 instead. I’m so happy that we have a real president in Furukawa that’s going to return Nintendo back to the respectable company it once was.
@@Itshadow306 You are aware that the Gamecube didn't do well, right? And it didn't have any of the issues from marketing-screw ups that the WiiU had. Nintendo needed the Wii(and the DS actually, it's one of the most successful consoles ever made). Going for a non-gimmick approach may have ruined their standing in the entire console space.
@@lpfan4491 I will say to be fair and I agree with you that the GameCube didn’t sell very well. However it was not because it tried to compete with Xbox and PlayStation, But because it was different with using mini discs instead of DVD discs and not having online. Also not having Rareware to help with it’s library of games hurt them in the long run. I say this because this happened under Iwata’s watch during that era. Iwata was a great game programmer but not the best businessman as he was transforming Nintendo from a game company to a toy company.
I think Metroid releases on both. Switch owners have been waiting years for that game. Kinda the same as Botw being released on Wii U at same time as Switch because so many were waiting for years.
Given they let did a great job but let Mario Kart 8 cruise they would be pretty dumb not to have Mario Kart 9 or whatever they end up calling it announced for 2025 even if it doesn't launch until 2026 with a promise for Smash as well. I'm not getting my hopes up for new characters but Crash would be nice to see, a new Sonic team mate would b great too. Maybe a Mario Role playing game. Obviously we all want Geno but Egads from Luigi Mansion (also throw the man Kart.), Valentina (Big Boobie RPG lady!), Boshi just to fill a slot somewhere, Mr. L (Throw this man a Kart!) would all be big smiles. They would be wise to had a new IP here and if pigs fly a Eternal Darkness would change minds.
@@steviemeeks NGL I want Crash JUST for the commercial. Cus I was there for the 90s! Crash in the parking lot of Nintendo HQ, calls out the plumber boy. Suddenly "Happy Together" starts playing as Mario, Luigi, DK and Bowser come skipping across the lawn. Beat down ensues!
Probably they have been cooking for a long time the new animal crossing and I think It is (almost) finished; being one of the biggest hits, they cannot dissapoint, especially when most of the people started on the pandémic, so Will be hard to keep players, so there's just left to finish the splatoon, still I think they'll be released both in 2026
@@megalaser1561 it really depends on when the successor of switch will come out, it might be 2027 for ac imho because 1) you don't want to shoot all your best cartridges on the first year (mario kart and mario 3d are system sellers enough on their own, you don't want to release the sequels to both the first and the second most sold games especially if you program 1 30+ milion sellers every few years) and sploon gives more variety on the launch offering than animal crossing and 2) nintendo already told us games are harder to develop and will request a longer production time. To me despite the conjuncture that made acnh the second most sold game on switch at the same time it was behind new leaf on some important aspects that i wish they resolve on the next game (interaction with citizens for naming one, and redesign the ia takes time)
@@stefanogandino9192 could be, but probably, Will be released Next year, since It could be announced anytime before april, I kinda think It Will be released arround december, with Mario kart. Because the estimated ammount of consoles sold incremented from this year. Therefore, ac, Will (probably) be released between october-december 2026, with almost a year from the first best seller to the second. It still, would not be a surprise if switch released 2026 and ac 2027
I bought the galaxy fold, I would never buy a folding Nintendo switch... tf? Makes it sound like the galaxy fold is bad, it's not. But you don't open the galaxy fold under a laundry list of conditions. I want to play my games whenever I want, especially when free time is so scarce

It’s definitely possible! That window where I put splatoon could also be a great spot for Nintendo to make a new IP. Give the fans time to chat about it and start the hype train for the holidays

We could both end up eating our words a Nintendo could pull the Nintendo and release with something wacky that makes zero sense like a new IP or 3 Kirby games Kirby considering how much of him they released on the switch
Switch 2 will be somewhat of a flop again. The original switch will have some long legs still, especially if new games will still be comming to the old switch. It will be wii u all over again.
I would hate to see it happen again, but it’s very possible it will. I loved the WiiU haha I’ll get switch 2 regardless, but for the companies sake and for the sake of the games we’ll get on it I really hope it doesn’t become WiiU 2
@@steviemeeks yeah, i hope i'm wrong as well. Wish nintendo all the success they deserve. But most switch owners probsbly aren't looking to upgrade and console specs clearly isn't a driver for upgrading for them. Nintendo customers are a completely different bunch then the traditional gamer public. That makes it hard to predict if there is a real mainstream appetite for a new console again.
It might launch with mincraft it would make sense after people are board of the other launch games they have mincraft with practicaly infininte play time inwouldent be suprised if mojang already has a dev kit because we do know from games com germany that a spanish stuidio that nintendo has worked with before has a dev kit
