@@okobox9999 Yes, RU-vid requires a call to a Nintendo server, so it is impossible without the use of homebrew to use RU-vid on a hacked switch.

I was thinking about that too, I really want to buy a nintendo switch, but i don't even play online, I just want to play my lego's and mario's in the backyard worrying about nothing, so, even if I pay the online I don't think I could really worry about it

Well if you didn't hack the switch this could had been avoided. People are dumb, if you made a popular platform and people pirated games for free. Then you wouldn't be so happy that piracy is going on, lesson is don't hack your switch if you just want to use the switch normally.

@@AwakenUniverse while a lot of people do hack their Switch consoles for piracy, many of us simply like to backup our purchased physical copies and also want to backup our save files without having to pay for Nintendo Online. It's quite ridiculous that basically every modern console since the original PlayStation has had a simple way to backup and transfer save files between consoles, but Nintendo requires you to pay for this basic functionality and the only other way to attain it is to hack your Switch. There's an article somewhere about a guy who lost 255 hours of Breath of the Wild gameplay because his Switch died, even before Nintendo online was released. I would have been less likely to hack my Switch if I could easily backup my save files. All my games are purchased physical copies or from the eShop. I accidentally turned on my wifi while in my custom firmware, got banned, and now the only way to me to update my games or download DLC is from third party shops normally only used for piracy. Nintendo's anti-piracy efforts are rarely ever enough to discourage piracy and may even encourage it in some situations.

Think about it, They make users buy another switch and buy all the games they had on there previous switch which makes them more money

If you get caught with your hacked console by Nintendo then they want nothing to do with you. Nintendo hates hackers because of piracy. It's like a food you can not stand to even look at.

lol bricking your console is not very evil, it's like killing a suffering person to end their pain, It's much more eviler if they ban your switch and haunt it for the rest of your life knowing you can't do anything about that and the only way to resolve this is to destroy your switch, delete your saves, your users, and old nintendo online account and start from a clean slate with a new switch, new account and the whole nine yards, SO yeah they're eviler than you think.

Just gonna say, the best way to play DBD is usually pc or Xbox or PS4 as the visuals and performance are so much better. Not saying this as an insult just a suggestion if your looking for another way to play it. Same with rocket league.

@Stove10706: Their could be other reason then hacking for banneing the online services, maybe how you behave while playing mario kart 8 deluxe online, for example if you stay with a row of item block and wait just to take them all before the other player does, bully an opponent you do on purpose to stay back to target the same player over and over again, and the other one excesive sandbagging. The most recent patch for the people that does not have it banned patch sandbagging, so you can only do it once per row of item block. Meaning if you hit a row of item box, you can only hit that same row a second time on the same lap for sand bagging doing more time will always result in lower tear item.

There is no guarantee at all. There are ways to block out pings and calls to Nintendo services, but there are so many sneaky ways Nintendo tries to call to a Nintendo server that is basically impossible to actually not getting banned. Now a pretty decent solution is to use those games on an EmuNAND partition, while having your SysNAND be a completely clean stock software. You can play your homebrew/other things on your EmuNAND, and if you want to play online you can use your SysNAND.

Yes this work. When you trtransfer the Data from your old switch to your new switch, there is no inter connection to be needet.

Your Nintendo Account is not Banned and you can use it normal with you new switch, all games are there.

Yes, that's correct, but you can easily update games with a shop on tinfoil or update them manually using NSP files!
